Response/s
The course provides relevant topics and discussions
that are relatable on dealing with the issues and
contemporary problems that most teachers face. It
provides an avenue for us to learn and relearn some
past ideas that we forgot in delivering learning
experiences among our clientele. Furthermore, it
points us to what aspect is important and what should
be given focus if we want our learners to become
independent, collaborative and global learners.
Generally, this flexible course served its purpose as a
timeless avenue which provides an arena to all
teachers to recalibrate and recapitulate essential
competencies and ideals necessary if we must
develop our education towards 21st century and
beyond
The most significant learning insight that I gain in this
course is the establishment of a principled learning
environment, and how we, as a teacher, can manifest
the values and attitudes that our learners must
inculcate in an environment- friendly to them and
engaging towards learning.
Internet connection is the most challenging
experience that I had during this course and meeting
with the course requirements due to personal
circumstance that were inevitable for me at those
times. I also lost my morale during the course
because of insecurities and professional stress which
burns out all my motivation.
I still need to improve my financial literacy since I am
still new at handling large amount of money and
allocating them wisely is the most troubling task for
me due to the mix expenses that I have in my school
and personal life.
My over-all experience was very challenging and fun. I
faced and realized my competencies and
shortcomings as a teacher and understood that I have
many room to grow, both as a professional teacher
and as a person.
What are your other comments / suggestions for
improving the content coverage and future course
deliveries?
I suggest that we should have a group video call
before the chat sessions to go through the
requirements and personalities of each and every
one. In this way we can be acquainted with one
another and have a basic idea on what requirements
must be accomplished in the end of the course.
