Classroom Layout Question 1: Describe the workflow of the room. Is the space used efficiently? >>>

I believe the classroom space is used efficiently. Supplies are organized together and labeled neatly on
shelves that are within student reach. The workflow of the classroom is different compared to most as
this class does not use individual desk seating, but are seated on four tables pushed together so as to
make two large groups. I think this workflow is efficient for group work and helping the students
maintain focus to the front of the classroom.

Classroom Layout Question 2: In your opinion, how can the physical arrangement of the room be
improved? >>>

The physical arrangement of the classroom could be improved with more space, but seeing as how that
is out of the teachers’ hands, I would say she used her space to the best of her ability. With more space
is would allow for less narrow walkways, a larger small group table, and maybe possibly an area where
the students and teacher could do carpet time where they could do whole group activities like story time
or show and tell.
