 EXPLAIN MARRIAGE AS A
COVENANT

Marriage is, in theory, designed to serve as an

example of this solid, promise-made/promise-
kept partnership. In a marriage, two individuals
formally join their lives together and swear to
stay true, exclusive, and devoted to one
another until death.
HOW MARRIAGE HAS BEEN RELATED TO
THE COVENANT MADE BY GOD TO HIS
PEOPLE?
The marital pact was meant to represent the
affection and connection between Christ and
His church. According to Ephesians 5:31–32 of
the Bible, a man must give up his father and
mother in order to marry his wife, after which
the two of them will become one flesh.
