Objective- The event's objective was to test the reasoning power and the aptitude of
participants in economics. It was also to test the ability of the participants to work in
teams and think fast in a time-constrained and competitive environment.

Rounds Description

Round 1- Deal or No Deal

The teams were shown 25 placards having different amounts (0 – 2Million). Teams
were given 5 chances to close the deal. The idea was to make the participants act so as
to maximize the expected value of their prize.

Round 2- Mauka Trade

The objective of this round was to make an army and maximize the team’s wealth. An
army comprised of 4 units and teams were given incomplete armies. The teams had to
trade among themselves to complete their armies also maximize their profits. Every
team was given additional cash with forces. The total cost of forces and cash given was
equal for all teams.
