The Philippines is abundant in both natural and human resources.

The main product of

the Philippines is from Agriculture and Fisheries. Right now, we are in the line of mining
industries that give 30 percent of the Philippines Gross National Product. Mining in the
Philippines have both effect in Human and Nature that is cause by the illegal mining (that uses
sluice method) and large deposit of minerals. It is done by other countries and the companies
itself uses high destructive tools and high deposit of mercury, which the government do not take
actions or slowly taking action on it is a problem. The Philippines is planning to open again the
mining industry for both government held mines and corporation held mines. The talks regarding
this issue 4 weeks ago tells that it should be open to give work to the people in that are and
totally forgotten the talks about environmental issues in the land of mining.

The Philippines mining industry main deposit is Gold, Copper, and Nickel. And a reason
why many mining companies both legal and illegal mine to export in other countries. Not just
Philippines mining companies targeting of even other foreign companies target to mine here in
the Philippines. Other minerals are mine also like dolomite, quartz, and other minerals found in
the Philippines. And the main victim of these are nature and the health of the people near the
mines.

If it is the key to lift up and support the economy of the Philippines, let us consider the
possible effects on the nature and the people itself. Focus more on eco-friendly tools that is
used in mining. We should also consider to rehabilitate or to create new laws protecting nature
and the input of our resources

This is the list of the things we want to change and to add on the proposal:

Eco-friendly equipment
The equipment should not damage large portion and nutrients of the soil. The tools
should be approved by the government.
Reduce the output
If the goal of mining is to make economy rich, the outcome will only last for short time
and the companies will only benefits. We should focus on preserving the minerals so we
can use it on a long period of time.
Take responsibility to the resources that destroyed
Mining leaves a scar on nature that destroy lots opportunities for nature and human and
by adding or taking out something from the animals' everyday lives, mining can
completely destroy the ecosystem. Loss of agricultural and livelihood.
Take 30 percent of the total profit
As a marketing business companies(Gold and Foods) and an eco-friendly foundation the
only one benefit here is the Leaders of the corporation. If you said to us that we will only
be beneficiary, the gold companies, is not because it will also affect our sales we should
be adapting Hong Kong gold markets wherein it preserves and benefit the resources and
the consumer by collecting tax and profit to make sure it is well preserved for the future
generations
Set some time to mine
Just like adapting the exercise in fishing industries we should set time to mine and not
but the difference is there will no sequence and pure work before it stop. 6 months to
mine and settle the damages and after a year we should open it again if possible.
Create a bill
We should create bill to protect the people and the ecosystem that will be victim of
mining
Strengthen the laws
we should strengthen the laws that aims to protect the ecosystem and the people living
in it.
Create one competencies for both large and small mining
By creating this, we can both benefit both party. If your proposal aims to create
competencies for the party we should focus on how largely ones party damage that is
created. It should be subject to protect the victim and pay for how largely the damage
occured
The mining companies should be held by the government
It should be trusted to the government so we can make sure it benefits and can not
create leakage that can possibly destroyed one bodies.
Limit the mining corporations operating in the country
There are many mining companies in the Philippines and I think we should start limiting
it many foreign companies are starting to mine here and almost all of them are not been
documented by the officials
 As a spoke person I think we, the corporation, should not be involved in this kind of
arguments because we just create competencies that we the government must follow. We
should create a plan to create one obligations that is lead or adapt by other foreign countries
like Canada where the opportunities in mining are well documented and adapt how Singapore
protect it nature even they have limited resources. Hong Kong wherein the government hold its
natural resources and hold the foreign companies to take place, this act should be adapted.

This is for us not for the economy, there will be lot of opportunities in the Philippines we
should focus more, building opportunities for it and if were talking about our natural resources I
think the government that is educated should take responsibility. There are many people have
been affected and mining it the main topic. We don’t want to mess up something we have just to
lift up our community, if mining is good we should have limitations. If were talking about creating
opportunities why foreign companies creating one for us, why companies telling the government
should do, and I think we are democratic country and why the rich benefit instead of the poor, I
thinks because of the idiots and crocodiles in the senate. And we should participate on seminar
and talks on eco-friendly that aims to reduce the effect of climate change which our country
have richly been affected.
