Courtesy to each other are expected
at all times.
HOW TO LOCATE BOOKS
Discussing/talking with each other
in minimal voice is allowed to
encourage socialization and
learning; anyone causing
disturbance will be asked to leave.
Library users are only allowed to
bring in the reading area their
research notebook, ball pen, and
valuables. Bags and folders are to
be deposited in the baggage shelf
provided upon entering the library.
Any misconduct will lead to
disciplinary action or cancellation
of library privileges.
The following are strictly not
allowed:
 Going in and out without any
purpose, e.g., bystanders.
 Eating, drinking, sleeping, and
littering.
 Talking loudly.
 Getting more than three books
or theses at a time from the
shelf.

The library operates an open-shelf
system except for theses collection,
researcher must be identified the title
or author of the thesis needed by
searching on the OPAC or in the
theses collection hardcopy or print
out then filling-up the search form.
Readers locate book by means of
Library of Congress Classification
(LCC) Scheme
In case of difficulties to find the
needed book/s or other library
material/s, ask help or assistance
from the librarian.
RULES AND REGULATIONS IN
BORROWING BOOKS AND OTHER
MATERIALS
Books with multiple copies can be loaned
for one (1) week and may be renewed for
another week if not needed by other users.
Reserved books are generally for ROOM
USE ONLY.
Reference books, periodicals, theses and
dissertations are limited to ROOM USE
ONLY and must be borrowed one at a time.
Books for ROOM USE ONLY (only 1
copy each title) may be borrowed for
photocopying but should be returned
immediately.
All materials borrowed must be returned on
the date/time due.
Theses/academic researchers are for
ROOM USE ONLY and any part of such
could not be photocopied.
FOR RESEARCH STUDY
Faculty members should coordinate
with the librarian two days before the
schedule of a certain group or class
activity for research/study.
BOOK DONATIONS AND GIFTS
All clientele, students, employees and
library friends are encouraged to donate
book/s or other material/s which are
useful for the students and other library
users however, the librarian has the
authority to reject gifts and donations
deemed obsolete or outdated.
