PURPOSE OF THE STUDY

Trading is an essential part of a thriving community as it will lower the prices of goods

locally and internationally. Trading centers will spark innovations and encourage markets to

become specialized. The impact of this is that a community can focus on its production specialty

or unique resources and trade the excess quantity to different areas (Qurban, 2022). Thus, the

study intends to provide a trading center design that specializes in the unique resources of

Quezon province.

Main objective

To achieve a sustainable building in terms of utility needs by incorporating green building

techniques into the Provincial Trade Center in the overall design.

Specific objectives

1. To develop an architectural design of a Trade Center building that prioritizes the users’

comfort, safety, security, healthcare, and market demands.

2. To minimize the building footprint and paved surface of the intended lot to make space

for greenery and landscape.

as a landmark and economic achievement of Lucena city.
