INTRODUCTION
Human resource is consider as the most valuable asset in any
organization it is the sum of the inherent abilities, acquired knowledge and skills
represented by the talents and attitude of the employed person who comprises
executives, superiors &the rank & file employees.
Every organization want to become dynamic and growth oriented or to success
in a fast changing environment. HRM is the management of employee skills,
knowledge abilities, talents, aptitudes, creative abilities etc. Employee in human
resource management is treated not only as an economic man but also as a social
and psychological man.

INDUSTRY PROFILE
The Govt. of India recognizing the importance of plastics in agriculture appointed
on March 7th, 1981 a National Committee on the use of plastics in agriculture under the
chairmanship of Dr.G.V.K.Rao. This committee has forecast a tremendous growth of
drip irrigation through a network of plastic pipes and tubes. In its opinion large scale
adoption of irrigation would lead to sports in demand for PVC pipes, L.D.P.E tubes
and polypropylene emitters. The committee made a number of recommendations for
promoting the use of plastics. The implementation of recommendations would go along
away in increasing the consumption of plastics, which at present is very low.
The rigid pipes, flexible pipes and sheeting, which are being used for agricultural
operations to carry out water place to place and also lining of ponds and reservoirs to
reduce seepage and most important in drip irrigation system.

COMPANY PROFILE
Rayalaseema is economically backward area in Andhra Pradesh, was rarefied
region for industries. A dynamic entrepreneur Sri.S.P.Y.Reddy who is basically a
mechanical engineer started a unit at Nandyala, which manufactures black pipes in
1977.The Determination and hard work of Sri.S.P.Y.Reddy helped him to overcome
the problems faced by the company in the initial years, and with financial assistance
from local commercial banks. The company could overcome the problems of the
merger and is running smoothly.

NEED FOR THE STUDY

Employees play a significant role in an organization. Among all the four resources
land, labour, capital and machinery, employees are considered as important and
effective resource. Employees are the key for the success of any business. To retain the
efficient people and attract experienced and skilled workers, the business should
maintain good employee relationship.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

The main objectives of the study are:


• To know the relationship among the superiors

• To know the retention measures in the organisation

• To know the co-operation between top level to bottom level.

• The scope of the study is restricted to working employees in

• This study would help to know the current scenario of the
company with respect to Work levels.
• This study would to bridge up the gap between relationship of
employer and employee if any.

FINDINGS
The following are the findings from the analysis and interpretation of the data
collected through the questionnaire. They provide much clear vision of the data
analyzed & interpreted.
From the data analysis & interpretation, these are my findings.

• It is inferred that the 93% of employees know their job responsibilities assigned
by superiors.
• It is found that 60% of employees feel that they maintain very good relationship
with superiors and subordinates
• 57% are preparing to talk more responsibly, more time for a new position with
superiors.

• It is found that 79% of employees are aware about the company’s mission
statement framed by top management
• It is found that 58% of employees are willing to involve in decision making
with superiors.
• It is found that 63% of employees feel that they have support and authority to
make the decision necessary for accomplishing assigned task.
• 56% of employees agreed that they use employee feedback to make
improvements to maintain relationship in their department.
• 55% of employees are more satisfied with present job & feel a sense of
accomplishment with the help of others.

• 60% of employees feel that Employee relation contributes to the company’s


overall goals and strategy
• 59 % of employees are very satisfied and feel valued as a team member and
maintaining relationship with others
• It is found that the 57% of employees are very satisfied receiving
encouragement by superiors and management to come up with new and better
ways of doing things.
• 64% of employees are very motivated by superiors to see the company success.

• 56% employees are very strongly agreeing job requirements are clear to give
my report to superiors.

• It is found that 55% of employees are strongly agree with organisation organize
the several programmes for continues learning and development of all the
people.
• 72% of employees are strongly with our management has created an open and
comfortable work environment.
• 52 % of employees are strongly agreed with his/her job offers scope for

in the company are committed to spending time with people to listen to their

• From the chi-square test it is found that employee relationship contributes to the
company’s goals and strategies.

SUGGESTIONS

• It would be better conducting sports and recreational activities which helps to


reduce stress and to communicate with other employees of particular domain in
building the positive relationship.
• The management of Human Resource has to guide to enhance employee
relation and have improvement meaning at work.
• Regular meetings and gatherings should be there to build the relationship within
departments.
• All the employees should be treated equally and have to involve in decision

BACK GROUND OF THE INDUSTRY:
Plastic have become synonymous with modern living. It is undoubtedly a
product, which has penetrated extensively into the common man’s life. No wonder the
industry has achieved in terms of supply of raw material expansion and diversification
of processing capabilities and manufacturing of processing machinery and equipment.

This versatile material with its superior qualities such as light weight, easy
process ability corrosion resistance, energy conservation, no toxicity etc. many
substitute to a large extent many conventional and costly industrial materials like wood,
metal, glass, jute, lather etc.

On account of their inherent advantage in properties and versatility in adoption and


use, plastics have come to play a vital role in a variety of applications, the world over.
In our country, plastics are used in making essential consumer goods of daily use for
common man such as baskets, shopping bags, water bags, water bottles, school bags,
Tiffin boxes, hair combs, tooth brushes, spectacle frames and fountain pens, they also
find applications in field like packaging, automobiles, and transportation, engineering,
electronics, telecommunications, defense, medicine, and building and construction.

EXPORT OF PLASTIC GOODS

Plastics have excellent potentialities. Our country is equipped with all kind of
processing machinery and skilled labor and undoable, and extra to boost export,
finished plastics products will yield rich divided.
Today India exports plastic products to as many as 80 countries all over the world.
The exports, which were stagnant at around rest 60-70 cores per annum double to 129
craters. The Plastic industry has taken up the challenge of achieving an export target of
Rs.17 cores.
Major export markets for plastic products and linoleum are Australia, Bangladesh,
Canada, Egypt, Hong Kong, Italy, Kuwait, Federal Republic of Germany, Sri Lanka,
Sweden, Taiwan, U.K., U.S.A., and Russia.

ROLE OF PLASTICS IN THE NATIONAL ECONOMY

Plastics are got perceived as just simple colorful household products in the mind
so common person. A dominant part of the plastics of the percent and future find their
utilization in the areas.

IMPORTANCE OF PIPES INDUSTRY
We shall look at the basic data about plastics and particularly those properties,
which are so, fuse in practical working with plastics. Plastics are man-made materials.

The oldest raw material for producing plastics is carbonaceous material obtained
from coal tar (benzene, phenol). Today the majority of raw materials are obtained from
petrol chemical source and they can be economically produced in large quantities.

Plastics have changed our world and day-by-day they are becoming important.
They own their success to whole series of advantage, which they have over
conventional materials such as:

• Low maintenance & High strength weight ratio.

ECONOMIC ROLE
Agriculture is the chief occupation in India. For the developing countries
like India modernization of the agriculture practices assumes pivotal places in
improving the economic status and the process of modernization. Includes usage of
higher productive plastics supplement to greater extent manufacturing of tools required
for new agricultural practices.

The usage of poly vinyl chloride pipes in agricultural fields, lesser water seepage, which
was predominant in earlier practices, with services of P.V.C pipes, water can be
transported efficiently with lesser from the place of higher potential to the place of
lower water potential.

Presently the revolutionary tried in water management speaks much about drip
irrigation, which is developed in Israel and is practiced by all agricultural based nations
in the world. Drip irrigation greatly P.V.C pipes as core tools of implementation with
the services of this sort, P.V.C pipes one way or the other strengthening the hands of
country’s economy.

A part with the referred P.V.C pipes supplemented with fitting is used in houses for
electrical connection and other domestic purposes. Apart from these two applications it
has got wide applications even in industrial sectors. P.V.C pipes with much unique
heart, chemical and physical characteristics serve many industrial purposes.

Even characteristics of weight and low price attract many more applications. Rigid PVC
pipes have been manufactured in India from the 60’s on imported extrusion lines and
there after indigenous plan were few pipes manufactures up to 1979-83. When many
extrusion lines were imported from batten field, Cincinnati, kraaus-maffi etc. the Govt.
allowed the imports of sophisticated and high output plants, which were not available
indigenously.

PVC PIPES IN INDIA

Pipes products have found wide acceptance in India and abroad. PVC is one of the
more versatile plastics. It can be extruded, moulded, calendared and thermoformed into
a multitude of furnished products. The PVC resin can be formulated to give a wide
range of properties ranging from hand, tough materials for load bearing application lime
pipes, windows and doors to flexible materials for products a due as wire and cable
insulation and shooting and flooring.

PVC products cater to both interiors and exteriors. In interiors it can be used for
flooring, profile and cable tray, wall covering modular office systems, houses and
furniture. For exteriors it is used for doors and windows, fencing partitions and
paneling, roofing and rain systems.

The other external applications are in the field of irrigation, portable water supplies.
In the field of irrigation there are several methods to irrigate the fields. There are minor
irrigation projects and major irrigation projects apart from individual sources like wells,
tube wells, bore wells. Major irrigation sector small projects will have canals and lift
irrigation schemes etc., will have canals and lift irrigation schemes etc., will have
pipelines. Cement and GI pipes were the pipes used in conventional methods of
irrigation. Now-a-days PVC pipes replaced the conventional pipes and they constituted
almost 90% in this respect.

Drip irrigation popular in the agricultural sector especially in the field of horticulture
commercial cropping and green ply houses. The drip irrigation concept is becoming
more popular with its advantages like highly yield, water conversion, less labour cost,
less fertilizer, less past management costs, less power costs and many more advantages.
The demand for this concept is increasing at a place of 30%-40% per annum.

Agriculture a sunrise industry in the Indian economy is mainly dependent on the


PVC pipes for the seawater sector and pumping to their aqua ponds. They are using
pipelines of four to five kilometers of 10-16 diameters pipes.

The state Govt. of A.P is using rigid PVC pipes for the irrigation water supplies
for the past few years. The state Govt. is producing PVC pipes through APSIDC
(Andhra Pradesh State Irrigation Development Corporation) for its lift irrigation

schemes. The panchayatraj department is producing pipes for public water supply
schemes. These pipes can be used for the main distributors, sub-distributors and
individual connections.
Seamless Steel Pipes & Tubes:
Seamless steel pipes & tubes find widespread usage in the hydrocarbon
industries, processing & general engineering industries. Boiler pipes, as the name
suggests are used in boilers, heat exchangers, super heaters, among others, while casing
& tubing are used for drilling of oil and gas. Seamless pipes find application in
industries where strength, resistance to corrosion and long shelf life are critical. The
industry is liberalized and 100% FDI is permitted in the sector under the automatic
route. The oil sector is the major end-user segment of seamless pipes & tubes. The other
user segments include boilers, ball bearings, automobiles, chemical plants, fertilizers,
petrochemical plants, industrial machinery, among others. With the gradual rise in
power and oil sector, the demand for seamless steel pipes & tubes segment is expected
to increase going forward.
Electrical Resistance Welded (ERW) Steel Pipes & Tubes
ERW steel pipes & tubes find widespread usage across industries and fields. In
addition to various engineering industries, they are used for water, oil and gas
distribution, line pipes, fencing, scaffolding, etc. They are also used for agricultural
purposes, drinking water supply, and thermal power, for hand pumps for deep boring
wells and also as protection for cables (telecom), among others. Depending on the
requirement of the end user industry, ERW steel pipes & tubes are available in various
wall thicknesses, diameters, and qualities. The different types include line precision
pipes, tubular poles, electric poles, lightweight galvanized pipes for sprinkler irrigation,
among others. The industry has sufficient capacity to manufacture the different types
of pipes & tubes. High performance ERW steel pipes & tubes possess high strength,
toughness and are corrosion resistant. In the manufacturing process of ERW steel pipes
& tubes, the edges to be welded are mechanically pressed together and electric
resistance or electric induction is used to generate the heat required for welding. With

the adoption of better welding technology, ERW pipes & tubes are now widely used in
the oil & gas sector.
A number of ERW steel pipes & tubes production units are in the SSI sector. Higher
demand from the oil & gas infrastructure and automobile industries has led to a healthy
increase in production of ERW steel pipes.
Submerged-Arc Welded (SAW) Pipes
SAW pipes are mainly used for oil & gas transportation and water distribution.
SAW pipes are of two major types, longitudinal and helical welded SAW pipes. The
latter are used for low-pressure application, while longitudinal SAW pipes are preferred
for high-pressure application such as gas pipes. Longitudinal SAW pipes are more than
25 mm in thickness. In terms of production costs, it costs less to manufacture helical
SAW pipes as compared to longitudinal SAW pipes. In the manufacturing process of
submerged-arc welded pipes, the heat necessary to melt the edges of metal to be joined
together is generated with the help of a concealed arc with no pressure between the two
sides of the weld. India has a high installed SAW pipes capacity with four major players
including Jindal Saw Limited, Well Spun Gujarat, PSL and Man Industries.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Hot forward extrusion is employed for the manufacturing of PVC pipes resin
with weighted. Amounts of other ingredients, which are carried to the hot chambers.
The high temperature of hot chamber melts ingredients and content of the given forward
transit to get allow pipes of required dimension. As the pipes come out the heat

chamber, cool the pipe immediately. Pipes of desired length are cut with the aid of stop
and power hacksaw. Production is made in various sizes ranging from 1/2 to 10
according to usage.

Reinforced Plastics
Although plastics have high strength to weight ratio, they are not as strong as
metals and deform permanently under load. It cannot be placed under extremely high
or low temperature like metals and other materials. Modern invention of glass or carbon
black as reinforcing fillers have a way for making high strength bearing plastics and
they are at a times replace steel.

Alloys
Physical mixture of two or more polymer is termed as alloys. Physical blending of
two polymers is needed because is needed because every polymer has certain set of
good properties.

Design of special that should have specific set of properties may not be obtained if it
is made only from one polymer by blending two polymers we can get the required
combination of properties. For example polystyrene is highly amorphous and rigid but
has low impact strength. If it is blended with rubbery material, product will be of high
strength, rigid.

manufacturing of black pipes. The resulted in the formation of a Pvt.Ltd. Company
called “ANANTHA PVC PIPES PVT LTD”, With Sri. S. P. Y. Reddy as the managing
director.

The only major competitors to the company are Sudhakar pipes, maharaja pipes.
The only backdrop to it is the competition from local brands. As the majority of
customers belong to farmers, they consider than quality. The company has to make
aware of the company’s quality standards to them.

Sri S.P.Y.REDDY locally well known industrialist with the base at Nandyal, Kurnool
district who has been successful entrepreneur and management. Is technically qualified
person with B.E (Mechanical) from R.E.C (Wrangle) and with world experience at
BAARC (Bombay). He has daringly established industries in and around Nandyal from

Financial Department

Purchasing Department

The perplexing situation i.e., conformed by the manufacturers of the PVC pipes
is scarcity of resin. Through the govt. of India has taken various steps to improve supply
conditions of PVC resin, the Indian manufacturers could meet only 50 percent of
demand and remaining 50 percent is met from imports.

PROCESS

The main raw materials are HDPE granules, PP granules. The manufacturing for
pipes consists of mixing various resins along with colorize materials in a mixture and
the prepared material is fed to the extruder. In the extruder, the material is heated to the
required politicizing temperature the extruded through the die hard to form the pipe.
The hot pipe coming out of the extruder is cooled in a water bath to retain the final
shape. The pipe coming out of the extruder is guided through the water bath suitable
traction system. The temperature of the water is maintained by circulating through the
cooling toward and with the help of a chilling plant. The required length of the pipe is
cut with a planetary saw. The cut lengths are titled by titling units and get corrected in
the pipe rack attached to the tilting frames.

EMPLOYEE RELATIONS

Employee relation is defined as communications between management and employee


concerning work place decisions, grievances, conflict, problem resolution,unions,and
issues of collecting bargaining.

Employee Relations can be classified in 3 types in terms of communication


within organization, with HRM intervening. First is the downward communication
flowing from employer to the employee, second is upward flowing from employees to
employer and third is horizontal communication amongst the employees.

Employee relations

The importance of ER for firms is hard to measure and academic literature


provides mixed results (Liu et al., 2007; Marom, 2006). In traditional Anglo-Saxon
thinking, employees were seen as a cost which should be minimized, like all other costs,
in order to maximize profit (Becker and Gerhart, 1996; Bird et al., 2007; Friedman,
1970). On the other hand, from a study among over 19.000 firms, Liu et al. (2007)
conclude that human resource management is of significant value for firms.

The main reason for these findings lies in the resource based view of the firm.
This resource-based view has recently gained popularity. In this view, the employee is
a vital corporate resource and a unique, sustainable competitive advantage (Boxall and
Purcell, 2003; Liu et al., 2007; Neubaum and Zahra, 2006; Ruff et al., 2001; Zatzick
and Iverson, 2006). According to the resource-based view, good ER leads to satisfying
this unique and inimitable corporate resource. Becker and Gerhart (1996) provide
several reasons for the uniqueness and inimitability of good ER. First, to imitate the
system of ER of a firm, the interaction between all elements of the system should be
understand.

Defining Employment Relations

In so doing, it is first useful to look at what constitutes the definitional


characteristics of the term ‘employment relations. And to this it can only be said that
considerable and on-going debate has been over the meaning of the term (see: Techier,
Holland & Gough, 2002, p. 3). One needs only ask scholars in related fields such as
industrial relations, human resource management, industrial psychology, industrial

sociology, labour economics, labour law and labour history to appreciate how the term
‘employment relations’ is used in a variety of ways and contexts.

The American HRM literature, for example, frequently refers to it when


describing the corpus of HRM functional activities and associated interactions that exist
between individual employers and employees at the level of the workplace. Used in this
way it is typically held to describe something quite different to older forms of personnel
management and industrial relations (see, for example: Bardwell & Holden, 1994).

The British HRM literature, however, tends to apply a wider meaning that goes
beyond the workplace, covering in its most extreme manifestation the type of
interactions that can take place between the states, employer associations and organized
labour. Employment relations conceived in these terms not only involves the micro-
level relations that take place between individual managers and employees, as is
predominantly the case in the American use of the term, but also the macro-level
interactions that take place between extraneous institutions set up to govern such
relations (see, for example: Gennard & Judge, 2002).

Edwards (2003)[3] defines Employee relation as “all forms of economic activity


in which an employee works under the authority of an employer and receives a wage in
return for his or her labor”. However, it is not that simple. The traditional collectivism
and the dominant recognition and influence of trade unions as well as the stereotype of
“male breadwinner”, which is mainly characterized industrial as relation, fade away in
the middle 60’s and new approaches rose.
Gennard and Judge (2002)[4] define Employ relations as “ the study of the
rules, regulations and agreements by which employees are managed both as individuals
and as a collective group, the priority given to the individual as opposed to the collective
relationship vary from company to company depending upon the values of
management”. Although this could be considered a thorough definition of the term,
scholars in later years have added to it. For example, Blyton and Turnbull
(2004)[5] suggest more factors to be considered; “wages and profit, authority and
compliance” ,the need of “work being a source of dignity, a ‘living wage’” and “social
cohesion, employee voice and participation in decision making”.

Nolan et al (1983)[14] illustrate pluralism as the way management tries to
engage employees with organization, creates employee commitment and accepts the
existence of clashes of interest across all the interesting parties.

India on top in employer-employee relations


A new survey has found that the "positive relationship" between the staff and
management has increased in countries like India and China, whereas Australia dropped
four places to take the 13th spot on the list.

According to ORC International's annual workplace engagement index, just


under half (48 percent) of Australian workers reported a positive relationship this year,
which is 6 percent less than last year, News.co.au reported.

The survey conducted on almost 10,000 workers surveyed them on their attitude
towards their organization, as well as whether they felt a sense of loyalty towards their
job and whether they were willing to go beyond their usual duties to help their
organization to achieve its goals.

The survey found that while India and China's rankings jumped by at least eight
places from last year's survey, to occupy the top two places on the list of 18 countries,
merely 38 percent of Australian employees said their manager inspired them to be
effective in their job.

Worldwide Employee Relations

1.UK

The British were once notorious for industrial disputes and walkouts. In fact,
they were daily occurrences in the 1960s and 1970s, such that industrial relations were
perceived as a 'problem' which brought down governments. Weak management and
intransigent unions produced industrial chaos, manifested by low productivity, hostility
towards change and highly publicized disputes, fundamentally weakening the UK as an
economic power.

The Employment Relations Act (1999) revised trade union recognition and a
number of other rights.

For this reason, the statutory procedure does not currently cover training and pensions.
The 1998 Workplace Employment Relations Survey (WERS) showed that whereas

36% of employee representatives said they were consulted over training, only 7% said
they negotiated over it.

Employees have the right to join or not join a trade union of their choice. Their
employer may not dismiss them, select them for redundancy or make them suffer
detriment for being or proposing to become a union member, nor for taking part in the
union's activities at an appropriate time. They are similarly protected if they choose not
to belong to a union or refuse to join one.

Complaints to an employment tribunal must normally be made within 3 months


of the date of the infringement of the right. Exceptions to this general rule are detailed
in the documents about the particular individual rights.

2.JAPAN

Japanese Employee Relations methods have relevance in two contexts: Japan


itself and transplant factories in the Pacific area, North America and Europe. Nissan,
for example, has been particularly active in overseas expansion and - in common with
many other Japanese corporations - has a specific attitude towards trade unions.

More intensive efforts are being made to unify and realign industrial labour unions at
Japan. The nation's labour union organizations are three-layered - consisting of the
independent unions at the lowest level (enterprise unions are the mainstream), industry-
level organizations and national centres. The enterprise union remains the basic unit for
organization. There are more than 100 industry-level labour organizations, five have
over 500,000 members. Many of these organizations do not satisfactorily function as
industry-level bodies.

Following the end of World War II there was a long period when four national
centres competed. They were particularly divided ideologically and in terms of their
support for political parties. One result was the creation of competing organizations
within the same industry. However, with the formation of Rengo (Japanese Trade
Union Confederation) in 1989, a move was made to unify and to realign union
organizations at the industry level under the umbrella of one national centre.

In 1993, the Japan Institute of Labour (JIL) began a research project on


industrial relations and decisions on working conditions at companies without labour
unions (Head: Prof. Tsuyoshi Tsuru of Hitotsubashi University).

To attain its target, the Government is attempting to make Japanese businesses adhere
to the 40-hour workweek, is encouraging workers to use their vacation days, and is
trying to reduce the number of overtime hours.

3.USA

Labour unions date back to the late 18th century in the USA, although it was
not until the late 19th century that the 'modern' labour movement was born.

Unions were organized primarily at the level of the workplace, and it was at this
level or the employer level that their main activities took place, with unions seeking to
'take wages out of competition' and hence maximize membership gains by co-
coordinating settlements across workplaces and employers.

The abundant supply of qualified college graduates and experienced


workers should create keen competition for jobs. Overall employment of human
resources, training, and labor relations managers and specialists is expected to grow
faster than the average for all occupations through 2012. In addition to openings due to
growth, many job openings will arise from the need to replace workers who transfer to
other occupations or leave the labor force.

Employment of labor relations staff, including arbitrators and mediators, should


grow as firms become more involved in labor relations.

resources land, labor, capital and machinery, employees are considered as important
and effective resource. Employees are the key for the success of any business. To retain
the efficient people and attract experienced and skilled workers, the business should
maintain good employee relationship. Thus, effective employee relationship must be
maintained for an effective organizational performance. A highly committed employee
will consistently deliver beyond expectations. So, there is grand need to maintain
relationship with employees to provide them with an organization’s identity.

The purpose of my study is to examine and analyse employee relationship in


Anantha PVC Pipes.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

The main objectives of the study are:

• To examine the effect of relationship on individual outcomes
• To examine the effect of superior relationship on their subordinates
• To know the retention measures in the organization

The present study involves descriptive research using survey method by having
direct contact with respondents for the survey through questionnaires.

Data is collected through two sources:

The primary data is collected with the help of questionnaire. The questionnaires
are chosen because of its simplicity and reliability and research can expect a straight
answer, which is directly related to the questions.

SECONDARY DATA:

Secondary data is collected through the document provided by the HR


departments, such as policy decisions, reports, manuals, brochures etc. books from
various authors of HRD, magazines, journals and annual report of the company,
feedback report file.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY

• The study was limited to Anantha PVC Pipes, Anantapur only. The result cannot
be generalized to employees of other organizations.

• Since, the employees are busy in their work it is also a limiting factor to discuss
their opinions clearly.

• Few employees were hesitant in responding to certain questions.

• The sample size for survey is limited.

INFERENCE:

It is found that 48% work grade employees are maintaining relationship with their
organisation & 36 % employees are passively maintaining relationship.

The study was conducted to know how they are maintaining employee relations
and bring into limelight factors which would help the employee to build up the gap
between a employer and the employee and it create an environment where everyone
feel that it’s my company and work with passion so that the productivity goes up and
the attrition level comes down which is the need of the day. The study found that the
more level of committed employee would be better and profitable for the organization.

FINDINGS
The following are the findings from the analysis and interpretation of the data
collected through the questionnaire. They provide much clear vision of the data
analysed & interpreted.

From the data analysis & interpretation, these are my findings.

• It is inferred that the 93% of employees know their job responsibilities assigned
by superiors.
• It is found that 60% of employees feel that they maintain very good relationship
with superiors and subordinates
• 57% are preparing to talk more responsibly, more time for a new position with
superiors.
• It is found that 79% of employees are aware about the company’s mission
statement framed by top management
• It is found that 58% of employees are willing to involve in decision making with
superiors.
• It is found that 63% of employees feel that they have support and authority to
make the decision necessary for accomplishing assigned task.
• 56% of employees agreed that they use employee feedback to make
improvements to maintain relationship in their department.
• 55% of employees are more satisfied with present job & feel a sense of
accomplishment with the help of others.
• 60% of employees feel that Employee relation contributes to the company’s
overall goals and strategy
• 59 % of employees are very satisfied and feel valued as a team member and
maintaining relationship with others
• It is found that the 57% of employees are very satisfied receiving
encouragement by superiors and management to come up with new and better
ways of doing things.
• 64% of employees are very motivated by superiors to see the company success.
• 56% employees are very strongly agreeing job requirements are clear to give
my report to superiors.

SUGGESTIONS
• It would be better conducting sports and recreational activities which helps to
reduce stress and to communicate with other employees of particular domain in
building the positive relationship.
• The management of Human Resource has to guide to enhance employee relation
and have improvement meaning at work.
• Regular meetings and gatherings should be there to build the relationship within
departments.
• All the employees should be treated equally and have to involve in decision
making.

CONCLUSION
Employee relationship is a positive attitude held by the employee towards the
organisation and its values. It is rapidly gaining popularity, use and importance in the
work place and impacts organization in many ways. Employee relationship emphasizes
the importance of employee communication on the success of a business. We would
hence conclude that raising and maintaining employee relationship lies in the hands of
an organisation and requires a perfect blend of time, effort, commitment and investment
to craft a successful endeavour.

Finally, I conclude that in Anantha PVC Pipes hotel, employees are making a
very good relationship with each employee and also concentrates on upcoming
employee preferences.
