    PREFACE

    In the name of Allah, the most merciful is all-loving. All praise to God, the Lord of the universe for
    giving me the opportunity and strengh to complete this thesis.

    My thesis focuses on the correlation between self-concept of English pronounciation and speaking
    mastery of the fifth semester students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember. This thesis is written
    to expect to be useful for Indonesian EFL studentsto find out whether there is a correlation between
    self-concept of English pronunciation and students’ preception towards the speaking mastery of
    students’ self-concept of English pronunciation. In addition, hopefully the result of this study would
    anticipate the readers of their self-concept of English pronunciation’s obstacles, motivate them to
    enchance their speaking.
