Family is considered to be the basic form of society.

The unity between its

members suggests that there is mutual understanding and support which will ensure
the progress and the correct upbringing of the children.

On the one hand, the traditional form of a family has changed during the last
decades. Women have been in the production line and are no longer staying at home
bringing up their children while men are equally sharing the same responsibilities.
Therefore, children receive new models of morals and values which are far beyond
the ones their parents used to know. As a result, the psychological isolation children
may feel due to the way they are brought up has definitely changed the way a nuclear
family is consisted.

On the other hand, family is the only value that stands out in the chaos of the
modern era when everything changes so rapidly. It represents the basic form of a
steady relationship that a child can have and operates as a steady starting point for
every adult’s development. It can teach us to be caring individuals and prepare us to
face everyday challenges.

In conclusion, family is a basic form of a society in which its members not

only develop their character and attitude towards life but also create models for future
generations to come. These models can later be rejected or accepted for the sake of
society and life itself.
