Using SAMR, think of a specific technology tool and how you can integrate it for each phase to show the
transition from using it to enhance instruction leading to a transformative use of technology. Design a
task that can have a positive effect on students’ learning.

Task or Learning Activities

Redefinition The way our classroom operates should change if there is

technology. Talking less is a simple way to define the lesson and
put the students first. Knowledge shouldn't be narrow. Develop a
fantastic classroom portal that kids may access daily. Instead of
having to wait for the instructor to give them instructions, this
allowed learners to get to work right away. I modify the
instructions if pupils don't comprehend them.
Modification Learners learn in large groups or even on sharing papers to make
assignments easier while still enabling for continuous
communication and information exchange. This reduces the
amount of effort that each learner must do in comparison to
other learners.
Augmentation Once more, a historical resource or approach is effectively
replaced by technology, but with material improvements to the
learning environment. Consider whether the use of technology
enhances or boosts a student's ability and performance
Substitution At this point, a more standard teaching tool or approach is
effectively being replaced by technology. It is a straightforward,
exact replacement. For instance, instead of using a tangible piece
of paper while teaching a governmental lesson about it, you
might utilize a digital or internet version of it. In addition to
typing their responses in Word Documents rather than writing
out a worksheets with pencil, learners can address questions on
the Article in this way. A learner presenting facts for an article or
modification to the audience via White board, Presentation,
Windows, Slideshare, Powerpoint, or another program is another
example of replacement. Consider what advantages students
might experience by using technology instead of traditional tools
in this phase.
