ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

PURPOSE:
The purpose of this assignment is to expose learners to the different approaches that can
be applied in teaching children language skills.

PART 1: WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT (40 MARKS)


Discuss TWO developmentally approach that can be applied in teaching children’s
listening and speaking skills. Discuss how these approaches can benefit children’s
language development.

PART 2: TEACHING DEMONSTRATION (20 MARKS)


You are required to conduct a puppet show and demonstrate how you will teach children
aged five years old listening and speaking skills using puppets. You can choose a suitable
setting that will enable you to present your teaching demonstration effectively. You need
to record a video of your demonstration and upload the video in the YouTube. Include
the link of your video in your assignment. Please take note that children are not required
to participate in this demonstration.
