chapter ((1))

1. background

The field of electronic learning (or “eLearning”) has gained increasing

popularity, and for the right reasons. Over the last few years, intuitive
online learning platforms has seen leaps in offering a complete learning
experience that is fun, interactive, and ultimately engaging.

Online learning started in 1960 when Donald Bitzer, a laboratory

assistant at the University of Illinois, created the very first e-learning
system called the PLATO. The device was originally designed strictly for
computer-based education, but due to its innovative networking
capabilities, it quickly became the foundation for online learning and
online communities.

in 1999, Researcher and Educator Elliot Masie first mentioned

“elearning” in a professional setting during the CBT Systems seminar.
The term was coined to evoke how people use computers to learn,
enroll in online degrees, and improve their education (Keegan, 2020).

2. problem statment

With the advent in technology and with the perpetual increase in the
strength of the students and the number of departments in the
educational institutions, it is laborious to exchange the study materials
between the students and the faculties.
student find it hard to get copys of last lecture notes or homework
3 . aim & objectives

1. make a srs doucment

2. devolpening a website/platform that a student/teacher can share
learning meteral that help other ppl who are intrested
3. student or user can view document in the website without the need
to download them
4. user can make account in the website and be abele to add the
document to his accounnt and be abele to use them or view them
anytime

The main objective of the E-Learning is to help the students get over the
traditional methods of learning and make them accustomed to the
internet where the notes for their respective subjects are easily
available. It provides an automation procedure of studying the notes
online. The implementation of this project helps both the students and
the teachers. The teachers and the students can upload their notes on to
the website by using their unique ID and the students can gain access to
these notes by searching for the name of the file under their respective
department.

4 . SCOPE

The SCOPE e-learning platform offers flexibility, as you can complete

your learning at a time and place that suits you. It also gives you the
opportunity to gain validation through a digital badge system when you
complete each module. This lets you share your achievements with your
peers and potential employers.
  an ability to review a design
  an ability to communicate ideas using technically
  an ability to choose appropriate materials
  an ability to show use of strong shapes to strengthen the model
  an ability to use tools and equipment correctly, safely and
competently
