Narrative

In a Seventh week of our practice teaching, these were the tasks I was able to
accomplished: First on Monday, I came early to school because it was the Orientation of
Progressive expansion of Face to face Classes and also the first day of Grade 3,4,5,and 6 in
Face to Face classes, we welcomed them together with my co-practice teachers, teachers,
and principal of Bucal Elementary School. On Tuesday and Wednesday I was not able to go
to school because did not feel well and therefore I asked my cooperating teacher to allow
me to stay home in that day. Fortunately, she allowed me to. On Thursday, I came back to
school to finished my missing tasks. I also had a face to face Classes and it's my first
observation to face to face classes of Grade 3. I prepared some simple gifts for them and
they happily accepted it. On Friday, my cooperating teacher and other teachers of Grade
3 are really busy with their forms so they asked me I could help them to arrange and sort of
their certificates.

Reflection

In this week I observed the difference between the face to face Classes and Online Class. I
can say that they both have a positive and negative effects when it comes to teaching and
learning process. Some of the challenges in teaching online is how to get their attention
especially they have so many distraction in their learning environment and it is really hard to
think different activities using ICT applications especially you will think of their internet
connectivity and their gadgets and device limitations, not everyone have a good quality
gadgets. And some of the problems in face to face Classes is their safety, we should follow
the protocol and we only have a limited activities inside of the classroom. Both of them are
challenging and have a positive but In my own opinion based on what I observed Face to
face is still better for a successful teaching and learning process because you can really see
what the students can and can't do, what do they need to improve and what is their
performance as a student. And it's a teachers job to know his students weaknesses and
strengths and help them to use their weaknesses as their strengths.
