 Do you believe that your Filipino identity (e.g., traits and values) influences how you
perceive and actively engage yourself in political issues/concerns?

-In my own perspective, our political identities are shape by our ideals and personal
characteristics, basically, our political self reflects in our personality and values. Being a
Filipino had an impact on me because of the cultures, customs, values, and beliefs that
Filipinos hold in many facets of life. These factors all contributed to who I am today.
Filipinos had a significant influence on me and provided me with knowledge that helped
shape who I am today.

“DEATH PENALTY OR LIFE IMPRISONMENT”

III. APPLICATION: Answer the question below and give examples.

Is life imprisonment humane than death penalty?

-Life imprisonment is probably more humane than death penalty. But, in honestly
speaking, I prefer death penalty in a particular situation, not all people deserve a second chance
and deserve to live, it depends on the crime that they did. Just for example, “The Death of Maguad
Siblings”, they’re killed brutally and intentionally without a specific reason. The people who
murdered them is not even feel sorry for what they did. This is just an example of many cases like
this. That’s why for me, it depends on the situation, but life imprisonment is more humane, but
not all prison deserves to be sentence of life imprisonment.
