Galactic Dominations Handbook

Written by StingrayWWW and The WWD Community

All Rules in this Document solely apply to Galactic Dominations.

Section 1: General Rules

The Rules in this section will ALWAYS BE IN EFFECT;

1. No griefing, Gmodding, paint griefing, FRPing, metagaming

or any other actions that fall under the category of
ruining the game for others directly or indirectly.

1.1. Griefing would be the act of annoying/harassing or

deleting/spamming (assets) in order to deliberately
ruin someone’s game.

1.2. Gmodding is when you make your characters

unrealistically strong in order to gain advantages on
other players. Taking control of characters that are
not your own will also be considered as Gmodding.
Galactic Dominations Handbook 2

1.3. FRPing (fail roleplaying) is when you commit actions

within a rp that are not probable or just don’t make
any sense. Failing to utilize “standard” roleplaying
rules to describe and properly convey your
character's actions are also considered as FailRP.

1.4. Metagaming is utilizing your real-life knowledge

concerning the state of the game in order to determine
your character's actions within the roleplay, when
these characters have no knowledge or awareness under
the circumstances. For example: Knowing where someone
is when you haven’t even seen them, or have no
explanation on how you knew where they were.

2. Private RPs are only allowed with the permission of a

Administrator+. We do not want private rp to be common
within our games, in order to give everyone a chance to
roleplay with people and socialize.
2.1. A Private RP may consist of an unlimited number of
players, but only one may be happening at any given
time on a server.

3. Taking, exporting, or otherwise using another player's set,

decals, or another player's content without their express
permission AND PROOF will result in a first time kick,
second time ban.
3.1. Proof as said above, is defined as having;
3.1.1. A picture of the player who is giving you their
content saying “I am letting ____ use my ____” on
Roblox, in game.
3.1.2. A picture of the player who is giving you their
content saying “I am letting ____ use my ____” on
Discord.

4. If you’re in the process of building a base and/or are not

RPing, you’re allowed to call for PT, which stands for
Peace Time.
Galactic Dominations Handbook 3

4.1. Peace Time must be called by the person on the chat

and it will last an indefinite amount of time. The
player must also put his/her name and [PT] so it can
be easily seen by others.
4.2. During this time, the player cannot be attacked by
outside forces or influenced by other factors.
However, this goes the player as well, he cannot
attack, expand or interact with anyone during the PT.
4.3. Camping in front of a player with PT is not allowed
and will be considered as Metagaming. For a clearer
definition of meta, refer to rule number 1.
4.4. Building a base in PT near another player will not be
allowed, and you will have to move.
4.5. The Second you begin to RP, you will not be able to
use PT, and all of its protections are void.

5. Server locking will only be allowed during Private events.

6. Spamming units on multiple planets will result in them

being deleted, keep units in space and land to a minimum in
places that will not be RP’d on.
6.1. Spamming is defined as having an amount of the same
buildings/structures that exceed 5,000 parts, and/or a
Moderator/Admin determines your units/buildings spam.

Section 2: Game Rules

These rules are by default in place, but may be changed by
Rulesets.

7. Every faction is unknown to each other, even if you are a

custom, unless you are following the lore and it says
otherwise in the lore. To contact or be in some form of
Galactic Dominations Handbook 4

relation to another faction you must first ‘discover’ them,

and decipher their language (unless you use the same
language).

8. If you’re building something on a planet, it cannot go beyond the

atmosphere, (the sphere around the planet)
8.1. The height limit does not count if you are building in
space, but keep it reasonable and not bigger than
500x500x500 studs.
8.1.1. Planetary rings, spheres, and structures larger
than 500x500x500 studs will only be allowed if
being actively used for RP.

9. All shields or other defensive technology, with a

reasonable amount of firepower, can be disabled.
9.1. No shields, or other defensive technology, can
deflect or bypass an infinite amount of firepower, if
you are caught doing this it is considered Gmodding
and you will be kicked.
9.1.1. A defensive technology that can block a certain
type of weapon for a limited time (max 30
seconds) and has a recharging time or limited
uses (1 minute or 3 uses respectively) is
allowed.
9.1.2. Example: A special Ray able to block any laser’s,
but not Plasma, is still banned. But a special
ray that can only be used for 10 seconds to block
all lasers, but not plasma, is allowed.
9.2. Shields may deflect “Energy” and “Kinetic” weaponry,
but must follow 9.1
9.3. The host or highest ranked Moderator+ in the game is
able to void or change technology they deem
Overpowered.

10. Planetary destruction weapons (a weapon that can destroy an

entire planet) are banned.
Galactic Dominations Handbook 5

11. Nuclear Weapons, or weapons with an explosive size of

150x150x150 studs or more, are banned except for when;
11.1. A ruleset unbanning them is used by the Host is used
11.2. An Administrator+ allows for its use.

12. Orbital Bombardment, or weapons originating from space, are

banned except for when;
12.1. A ruleset unbanning them is used by the Host.
12.2. A Senior Moderator+ allows for its use

13. If you’re going to have a piece of technology in your

custom set, unless you are using an official faction with
lore on, you need to have at least some idea on how it
works. For example, if you had nuclear bombs, or some sort
of laser rifle, you will need to somewhat briefly explain
how it would work.

14. Dice rolling is by default, not needed, and in order for

dice to be used, all parties involved must agree to it. If
one person doesn't agree to it, Dice may not be used to
determine actions in game.
14.1. Rulesets may break this limitation, should they be
used by the host.

15. Warhammer 40k is banned from being used in Gal Doms.

Section 3: Rulesets
Rulesets are a completely new addition to the rules.
Rulesets will be announced with a startup by the host. The Host
may choose any, all, or none of the Rulesets in their startup.
Rulesets are void once the startup ends, the host leaves, and/or
Galactic Dominations Handbook 6

a new startup begins. Rulesets may void Game rules, BUT CANNOT
VOID GENERAL RULES.

As this is a new system, please give the Advisor Council time to

refine it. You may suggest changes in the Discord.

I don't Like Rule’s

You don't like rules.
1. No Game Rules apply.

Dice Ruleset
This Ruleset is for hosts who like dice and may have taken
a trip too much to San Francisco.
1. Rule 14 of game rules is changed to
“Dice rolling is by default, needed, and in order for dice
NOT to be used, all parties involved must agree to it. If
one person doesn't agree to it, Dice MUST be used to
determine actions in game.
2. Dice will be used by the opposing players rolling, and the
one with the higher roll winning.
3. For each degree of success you have, the more
damage/persuasion/kills you get;

complete control of;
a. The Pit in Ceponia

i.
