Situation:
It’s lunch time and you’re starving. Invite your co-
worker out. You say, “Hey, care to join me for
lunch?” And she says, “Where do you wanna go?”

Correction:
I want to eat(V.) vs. I want to have something to
eat(N.)

Complication:
You’re going out to lunch and your friend is
vegetarian. He keeps saying, “Sorry. That doesn’t
really agree with me.” This means [I can’t eat that]

Homework:
Write a conversation. [A,B,A,B…] It’s your friend’s
birthday. Take him or her out for lunch. You say,
“Where do you feel like going for lunch? It’s my
treat!”
