A true friendship is hard work

It is said that true friendship is hard work. Friendship is a relationship that needs a
lot of commitment and trust to be long lasting. I personally think that having a
true friendship with someone takes a lot of work.
To start with, some people think that friendship isn’t hard to keep. for example,
my co-worker believes that he doesn’t need too much work to keep his
friendships, he says that everything works out perfectly when you don’t think
about it too much. He also says that his true friends know his character well, so
they don’t get upset when he says something rude or inappropriate. He thinks
that person shouldn’t apologize to a friend because friends need to understand us
no matter what we say or do, even if it’s something really bad. Funny thing is that
first time when he came in our office he had 20 friends but now he only got one
left in his life and probably that is his cat. So, I think it is clear why he doesn’t have
a true friendship.
At the same time, my friend agrees with me and she says that it takes a lot of
effort to keep a friendship. she thinks that two people who have a friendship need
to understand each other, have a respect for one another and have a good
conversation to solve the problems they may have in their relationship.
I think that if you need to have a true friendship with someone, you should have a
lot of patience along the way, because no one will stay in your life unless you try
to work on improving yourself and your friendship. friendships don’t work if only
one is trying to work it out, everyone should be committed and involved in their
friendship, because otherwise it will not be long lasting.
