This final assignment is more free-form than the previous ones.

You can choose whether you

want to focus on the research design (internal validity), operationalization/measurement of the
(independent and dependent) variables (construct validity, reliability), sampling methods (external
validity) or aspects of ethics or integrity. You are required to discuss one of these topics in a short
essay. Please focus on one or at most two of these topics.

Please write a short essay in which you critically assess the methodological quality of one, or
several of the four studies that are presented in the article (see Instructions). You can choose
whether you want to focus on the research design (internal validity),
operationalization/measurement of the (independent and dependent) variables (construct validity,
reliability), sampling methods (external validity) or aspects of ethics or integrity. Please focus on
one or at most two of these topics.

In your submission title clearly indicate what topic you will be addressing, so you and your
fellow learners can review essays on a topic that is of special interest to you!

In your essay, make sure you address at least one positive and two critical methodological

aspects of the study or studies that you would like focus on in this article.
