The picture illustrates how a student common room has changed over the past five years.
It is clear that the room now has had more facilities for students to relax when they are not in their class. The
room also has some rearrangements regarding to the main seating area.
Five years ago, at the center of the room, there were four large round tables which provided seats for 20 people.
At the moment, only two of these four tables are left while the other two have been replaced by a grand
conference table. To the left hand side of the room, all the features are kept for teachers and students to use
except that a bench has now removed to leave room for one more microwave.
At the end of the room, there is now a new drinks machine, being installed just next to the refrigerator. For the
time being, students also have more options for relaxation as a television and a set of armchairs are added in the
far corner to the right hand side of the room. Not far from there, those who want to use their laptops can also use
a new long bench.
