Presenta on & Graphs and charts

You are going to create and edit a presenta on for this company.

The medium for delivery will be a mul media projector. You will need to produce presenter notes
and audience notes with the slides.

Place the evidences in a new document named Evidence followed by your name. Place your name
on the le and page number on the right in the footer of the document

1. Set up a new presenta on consis ng of 4 slides.

On the master slide:

2. The slide master must have a cream (or light yellow) background and your Centre number,
candidate number and name in a small black font placed in the bo om le corner. It must
also contain a clipart image of a pen or pencil as a logo placed in the top right corner.

The logo must be resized so that no text or other object overlaps it.

Include the slide number in the bo om right of the footer and your Name, candidate number and
centre number on the le in the footer.

3. Add a black horizontal line, 3 points thick, below the heading from 2nd slide.

4. Set the following styles of text throughout the en re presenta on:

Heading: Dark blue, right aligned, large font (48 point)

Subheading: Blue (bright blue), right aligned, medium font (32 point)

Bulleted list: Black, le aligned, small font (24 point). Use a bullet of your choice

On the rst slide:

5. Enter the heading Hothouse Design

6. Enter the subheading Providing all your sta onery and ICT needs for now and the future…
below the heading.

7. Add the following presenter notes to this slide:

Hothouse Design have now added ICT to their por olio.

On the second slide (home page):

8. Enter the heading Index: in the same style as the rst slide.

9. Make two bu ons named Range of products and Best sellers, it should redirect to slide no. 2
and 3 respec vely.

On the third slide:

10. Enter the heading Range of products: in the same style as the rst slide.

11. Enter the following bulleted list on the le side of the slide, below the line.

• sta onery
• computer hardware
• computer so ware
• computer consumables

12. Enter the text and much more... below the bulleted list on the le side of the slide as a
subheading

13. Place the image J7SUPP1.jpg so that it lls most of the right half of the slide. Make sure that
it does not overlap or cover anything placed on the master slide.

14. The bulleted list should have each bullet set to appear one at a me using the same
anima on e ect. No other elements on the slide should be animated.

15. Add the following presenter notes to this slide: We have a wide variety of products, ranging
from pens and pencils to state of the art computers.

On the fourth slide:

16. Enter the heading Best sellers in the same style as the rst slide.

17. Enter the following bulleted list on the le side of the slide:

• pens
• pencils
• rulers

18. Using a suitable so ware package, load the le J7sales.CSV

Create a suitable chart from this le using only the Product and Sold data. Do not include a legend.
Add the label Products to the category axis and Number Sold to the value axis. Make sure that all of
the Product names are visible. Change the maximum units to 22000 and increments as 2200.

Place this bar chart on the right side of the slide.

19. Add the following presenter notes to this slide: We will never be surpassed for quality of
products or service.

20. Make sure you place a home bu on on the bo om right of slide no. 3 and 4 so that it takes
you to the home page.

For the whole presenta on:

21. Use the same transi onal e ect between each slide.

22. Save the presenta on using a new lename. Print the presenta on showing all of the
presenter notes. (Printout 1)

23. Print the presenta on showing audience notes of three slides to a page with space for the
audience to make notes (Printout 2)

24. Print a screen shot of slide 3 showing the anima on used for the bulleted lists. (Evidence 1)
