I was motivated to contact you upon learning that IIUM Schools Sdn.Bhd. has an
opening for a new teacher. For several years I have focused my career path and
academic pursuits on History and completion of Bachelor of Education (History) With
Honors at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. My personal philosophy is rooted in
empowering others and creating a positive perspective of life circumstances.

In the last year of my college, I was assigned to have my practice teaching in History
at SMK Sultan Yahya Petra 2. My six months of internship in SMKSYP2 brought me
various learning especially in giving instruction and supervision. The seasoned
teachers in History taught me how to professionally deal with various situations that
have got something to do with school matters such as dealing with the parents and
guardians of the students as well as working on school activities that involve the out
of school community.
Highlights of my qualifications include:

• Instructing high school students in world history for the past 2 years at SMK
Tunku Abdul Rahman, Alor Setar in creating and implementing innovative
new methods—including hands-on projects and field trips—for topics to gain
relevance to urban Malaysia students.
• Developing and administering exams, papers, and projects to evaluate
student development, comprehension, and progression.
• Teaching modified curriculum to students to elevate reading, writing, and
language skills.

With a genuine and nurturing nature, combined with a professional and ambitious
approach, I possess the primary skills needed in my field, including group and
individual instruction, secondary education and classroom management.
Additionally, team building and communication are part of my skill set, with
proficiency in interpersonal. Experience in interacting with diverse populations has
given me in-depth understanding and awareness of differences in both individuals
and organizations. These qualities will contribute to IIUM Schools's mission while
positively highlighting the professionalism and competencies in its employees.
