Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing in application for the Teacher position and am excited with the potential of contributing
to your team due to my 7 years of professional experience. I am Dayang Marshitah binti Abang
Bajury, and most recently had the job title of Study Coordinator. Thus, I believe I can contribute to
sharing my utmost knowledge in science especially.

Furthermore, I am especially well-suited for the Teacher position due to my strong skills in Tutoring,
Classroom Management and Lesson Planning. In my work as Research Study Coordinator, I
developed a keen ability to handle subjects in the requirement needed for the objective of the research
mostly trying to provide a solution to their problem, as well as manage a study with the required
technology for the completion of the research. Additionally, I became highly adept in Lesson
Planning, devising plans geared toward the specific requirements of the research and reinforcing the
need for focused and necessary data collection.

Though my skill set is surely a benefit, my strengths are an even larger asset to this position. I am
well-known for my Organization, Observation and Communication skills. Many times, in both jobs, I
have used my gifted organization and planning abilities to plan, execute and adjust tasks and the
relevant details. As well, I have utilized my observational skills to closely assess students’
understanding of materials, learning styles and other related matters. Finally, my dearest strength is
that of communication, which I use to create a free and open conversation between myself and the
students, creating an environment of honesty and trust. Moreover, I am confident that my skills and
strengths, all of which I acquired during my work as Research Study Coordinator, will apply greatly
to a teacher position. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss further how I can use these
qualifications to help meet the job goals.

Lastly, my educational background has given me a solid understanding of Education. And, my job as
a Part Time Teacher at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama Tun Ahmad Zaidi and Sekolah
Menengah Kebangsaan Tun Abang Haji Openg has given me the opportunity to learn on how to
manage different types of students from different background. Besides, I believe my knowledge in
Master in Science gives me great advantages in teaching Primary/Secondary students due to my
advanced knowledge in science. For the record, I also have become a Tutor for IGCSE syllabus for
International Student during my working time as a Part Time Tutor at Pusat Tuisyen Mutiara Suria.
Thus, I am eager to apply my application as a Teacher Yayasan Sarawak International Secondary
School.
