YOU WILL NEED: ABBREVIATIONS:

One pair of 3.5mm double pointed needles, cont - continue p - purl
stitch holder, sewing needle, oddment of foll(s) - following (follows) rep - repeat
white yarn k - knit rs - right side
WE USED: KFB - knit into front and back of same st WS - wrong side
Pistachio K2tog - knit 2 sts together sl - slip
K3tog - knit 3 sts together st(s) - stitch(es)

PATTERN:
Stem
Using 3.5mm double point needles cast on 3sts.
Row 1: Knit, slip sts to opposite end of needle.
Row 2: Knit, bringing yarn round firmly across the WS from left to right.
Rep last 2 rows 5 times more.
Cont to knit cord.
Next row: KFB, k1, KFB. 5sts.
Next row: Knit.
Next row: KFB, k5. 6sts.
Slip sts onto right hand needle so yarn is at start of knitting.
From now you are going to knit left to right and right to left.
Next row: k3, slip rem sts on holder and turn work.
Next row: Knit.
Leaf
**Row 1: KFB, k1, KFB. 5sts.
Row 2: Knit.
Rep row 2 6 times more.
Row 9: KFB, k3, KFB. 7sts.
Row 10: Knit.
Rep row 10 4 times more.
Row 15: K1, k2tog, k1, k2tog, k1. 5sts. Row 16: Knit.
Row 17: Knit.
Row 18: K2tog, k1, K2tog. 3sts. Row 19: Knit.
Row 20: K3tog.
Draw yarn through st and secure.
Return to 3sts on holder and work leaf from **.
With oddment of white yarn embroider berries with French Knots.
