YOU WILL NEED ABBREVIATIONS

1 pair 4mm needles WE USED ch – chain
Pack Limited Edition colours Lobelia (front page) dc - double crochet
Beads dc2tog – double crochet 2 stitches together
Sewing needle rnd - round
Stitch holder sc - single crochet
st(s) – stitch(es)

PATTERN:
Beaded Bauble
PB1 – place bead – bring bead up to needle keeping in
place with thumb, P next st.
Before casting on thread approx. 300 beads onto yarn.
Using 4mm needles, cast on 20 sts.
Row 1 (RS): Knit.
Row 2: Purl.
Row 3: Knit.
Row 4: Purl.
Row 5: *KFB; rep from * to end. 40sts.
Row 6: P1, *PB1, P1; rep from * to end.
Row 7: K1, [yo, k2tog] 9 times, k2, [yo, k2tog] 9 times, k1.
Row 8: As row 6.
Row 9: As row 7.
Row 10: As row 6.
Rep last 4 rows until 24 rows have been completed.
Next row: *K1, K2tog; rep from * to last st, k1. 27sts
Next row: Purl.
Next row: *K2tog; rep from * to last st, k1.
Thread yarn through stitches and secure.

MAKE UP
Place Polystyrene ball inside knitting and using mattress
stitch sew up side seam.
