Science involves systematically studying how things function, including the 11 systems of the human body, which nursing students learn about. Technology relates to developing new tools that change how nurses do their jobs. Society refers to groups of people, such as the group of nurses that will work together when deployed.

TECHNOLOGY, AND SOCIETY Hannah Grace L. Canoy BSN-1 (Block B)
Science, Technology, and Society all have
a lot in common with the bachelor of science in nursing. By definition, science is the systematic body of knowledge that explains how things function. Therefore, the study of physiology, or how the human body functions, is something we do in nursing. It also deals with a step-by- step explanation of the
11 systems in our body. Once we graduate, we will be able to relate to this because technology deals with the development of technology in nursing practice and has changed how nurses execute their everyday jobs. Society also deals with a group of people residing together. For instance, when we deploy, that group of people will be there.
