The Eiffel Tower

The Eiffel Tower is a tower with an iron structure. Located on the Champ de
Mars on the banks of the River Seine, in Paris, France. This monument which
became a global icon of France has been standing since March 31, 1889. Its
324 meters height, no wonder this tower stands majestically.
The Eiffel Tower or known as “La Tour Eiffel” is a tower built by an architect
named Gustave Eiffel. Initially, the tower was built as one of the exhibitors of
the world masterpiece I’Exposition Universelle in Paris, which was held to
coincide with the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. The Eiffel Tower
was the tallest building in the world for 4 decades.
Since it was built, more than 200 million people have visited this monument.
Especially at night. The Eiffel Tower looks more beautiful at night. The Eiffel
Tower uses about 20.000 lights to decorate the night sky. This monument is
most frequently visited by young couples around the world
