Every year as the clock nears midnight on December 31st, the eyes of the world turn once more

to the dazzling lights and bustling energy of Times Square. Anticipation runs high. New Year's
Eve at the symbolic center of New York City has become more than just a celebration — it's a
global tradition.

The world holds its breath, and cheers as the clocks strike twelve.

As the famous New Year's Eve Ball descends down the specially made flag pole at top, second
by second countless people throughout the world eagerly watch the Ball Drop at Times Square
and are united in bidding collective farewell to the departing year.

I am Megan Jacob, the cultural secretary of the choice school. I wish you all a good evening and
welcome you to this year's Cultural Day. I invite all the dignitaries who are part of this event
blessing us with their presence. A special welcome to our chief guest this evening, ___ . I
greatly appreciate and thank you for accepting our invitation and being here with us today. It’s
an honor to have you here Sir / Ma’am. I’d also like to earnestly welcome our Principal, Mr.Ajith
Jacob, Educational Administrator, Ms.Vimala Jacob, Vice Principals , Teachers , Students and
everybody who has been a support and help for this event.
The preparation and build-up have been long, but thanks to our incredible team's dedication and
cooperation, we've finally arrived, and we couldn't be more thrilled. Thank you to everyone for
being here this evening. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Wonderful New Year ahead.
