Vision: To promote good governance and ethical values through intellectual discourse among the
members of the society.

Mission:

 To support and assist the members of the society in promoting what is good and forbidding
what is evil in the society.
 To provide opportunities to obtain quality education for the members of the society.
 To create a sustainable Islamic social fund to spend on promoting good in the society.
 To disseminate knowledge through intellectual discourse
 To unite Muslim Ummah by focusing on contemporary issues in the Muslim world.

Values: Our values are derived from the following verses of Quran:

Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong,
and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith, it were best for them: among them
are some who have faith, but most of them are transgressors. ( Quran, 3:110).

He orders them with that which is good and forbids them that which is bad. And he makes allowed
for them that which is clean and good, and forbids them that which is unclean and detestable.
(Quran, 7: 157).

 Using innovation without compromising Shariah principles to serve the society.

IOCC Islamic Social Fund: IOCC Islamic Social Fund is a fund established by IOCC which is managed
independently by a Trustee. The source of money for this fund is from zakat or sadaqat/infaq or qard
or cash waqf. In managing the money received, the Shariah rules applicable to each from of these
Islamic social finance tools/institutions is adhered to while paramount consideration is given to
follow good shariah governance.

IOCC Think Tank: IOCC Think Tank focuses not only on producing research publications and policy
work, but also host conferences/seminars/workshops and work closely with the members of the
society and policy makers to bridge the knowledge gap in pertinent issues related to the society.
Monthly meetings and lunch talks are also conducted as on-going activities to brainstorm on issues
chosen for discussion.

IOCC Publication House: Knowledge dissemination through research and publication is important to
create awareness among the members of the society. Therefore, IOCC Publication House focuses on
publication of quality research and provide them in an affordable manner to the members of the
society. Academicians and practitioners are given opportunity to publish their quality work through
IOCC Publication House.

IOCC Islamic Advisory Council: IOCC Islamic Advisory Council is formed with well renowned and
respectable Shariah scholars who from time to time provides Shariah views required by the
members of the society.

Al Qudus & Al Aqsa Mosque Awareness Special Unit: The objective of this special unit is to create
awareness among the members of the society about the history and the crisis related to Al Qudus
and Al-Aqsa mosque.

Study Scholarship Scheme: IOCC provides opportunity for competent and qualified students the
opportunity to further their studies by providing scholarships to study in local and overseas
universities.
