Today I would love to take a couple of minutes to tell you about the benefits of exercise.
Before we start, do you all know that exercise is very important for our body? No? let me
explains about this.
WHAT IS EXERCISE?
Exercise is physical activity with a higher intensity than daily activities. The purpose is to get
health benefits both physically and mentally. Exercise can become a habit if we choose
activities that we enjoy doing. Everyone has a different type of favorite exercise such as
walking, running, hiking, taking a fitness class or using a treadmill and so on. Whatever the
choice, exercise is a must to maintain health. Based on the National Health and Morbidity
Survey (NHMS) 2015 conducted by the Malaysian Ministry of Health found that 33.5% of
Malaysians are not physically active. This means that only 14 million Malaysians aged 16 and
above are physically active.THERE ARE SOME BENEFITS OF EXERCISE I WOULD
LIKE TO SHARE

First and foremost, the benfit of exercise is Reduce and control body weight
Almost 50% of Malaysian adults are obese (NHMS 2019). No wonder so many
are trying to find a way to lose weight.Studies show that physical activity and
continuous exercise can help reduce and control body weight. Physical activity
helps the body to change the body's metabolism from using sugar as energy to
the process of burning fat or ketosis. This process of producing ketones or
ketosis uses fat reserves in our body. When it happens continuously, it will
help you lose weight more effectively. However, physical activity should be
done together with a healthy and balanced nutrition plan for it to be really
effective ( this graph shows that Malaysian is the country with the highest
regulation of obesity in asia)
Second, the benefit of exercise is Exercise reduces the risk of diabetes. Almost 3.9
million Malaysian adults aged 18 and above suffer from diabetes (NHMS 2019).
Diabetes can occur due to various factors including the body's immunity to insulin.
Studies show that by practicing physical activity and exercising, it helps increase the
body's sensitivity to the hormone insulin.
This situation helps to reduce the risk of our body's immunity to insulin and thus
avoid diabetes.
It is important that we try to avoid diabetes because it can open the doors to many
other disease.
Last, exercise GET BETTER of SLEEP
Adequate and quality sleep is one of the factors that are prioritized to practice
a healthy lifestyle. Many of us do not realize that our sleep is of poor quality
due to various factors such as stress and unhealthy practices. Exercising not
only reduces stress, but studies show that it helps us get better quality sleep.
By exercising too, it reduces fatigue and sleepiness during the day. This is
something I know a lot of people face, right? So why don't you try to start
exercising today and see for yourself the changes.

In Conclusion*
What other reasons do we have for not exercising, right? From
making us look more handsome and beautiful, preventing disease
and increasing energy. All this guarantees a better life. Start any
exercise activity that you like. Start little by little. In any endeavor,
persistence and continuous activity are the main keys to success.
