In this modern era where technology is dominant and social media has become influential, the

significance of fitness often takes a back seat. Studies have also shown that 9 out of 10 students
don’t get enough exercise or are not physically active, this may lead to lack of energy, easy to
get sick and experiencing stress, anxiety and depression which is very common in our society.
Like any other students we also face all these challenges, body shaming, rejections, and failures
and it makes us sad to see that some of the students choose the wrong way to solve these
challenges. They become alcoholic, become smoker, and the worst thing is taking illegal drugs.
As one of the Light of the World, we want to change this lifestyle! We are advocating fitness and
well-being.

Physical fitness is not just a mere aesthetic pursuit, but it is important in overall health. Simple
walking in the morning can help you to improve your cardiovascular and pulmonary health. By
promoting fitness, we advocate for preventative health practices that lead to a longer and
healthier life.

Our mental health also matters, it is an important part of overall well-being, and studies have
proven that fitness has a significant impact on our mental health. Some people use exercise as
their therapy in fighting their mental issues and I am one of them. By emphasizing the mental
health benefits of fitness, we are aiming to reduce stigma and improve overall societal well-
being.

When it comes to our self-development, fitness makes a huge contribution to it. Fitness will
make us more disciplined towards ourselves and to our actions, but short term of fitness trends
often leads to temporary results, and we do not want this, we want to emphasize the
importance of building sustainable habits for long-term health. Our goal in promoting fitness is
to create lasting behavioral changes that positively impact individuals and communities over the
course of their lives.

We want to create an inclusive environment where everyone is welcome, breaking down the
barriers that might hinder us in participating in fitness activities. Our advocacy believes that no
matter who you are? what you are? Fitness is for everyone.
