DEVELOPMENT?

Hi Lovely Ladies,
I don’t know about you but when couple goals’, Pink&Red everywhere season comes around, it is
always time of great introspection for me.

While everyone else is focusing (with great intention and good will) on their significant other,
family, friends, I like to tune in and conduct a little internal emotional audit of how I feel.

It is not exactly the same as a goal setting session. It is more to do with assessing where I am
today, what brings me joy, how can I do more of what makes me happy and be more of who I
wish to become.

In this month’s workbook I encourage you to do the same, at a level you may never have
experienced before.

Be assured I’m here with you every step of the way. Introspection is like sport.

At first you feel reluctant and unmotivated - maybe a tad apprehensive - before, but once you’ve
done it you truly deeply are happy and proud of yourself for having pushed back the boundaries
of what you thought was possible for you.

And that’s when real, deep growth happens. So, are you ready for it all? Let's do this!

TIPS FOR PRACTISING SELF-LOVE:


We all have hang-ups about ourselves and this can also run into our business too.

The art is to practice self love and do this daily so that it has an impact on our lives and
business. When we practice self love daily we create new habits and neural pathways in our
brains that make it automatic to take care of ourselves and love ourselves at the core. When
we peel back the layers of self love it runs through everything that we do and certainly into self
care.

We must honour our energy and care for ourselves, the most important thing about being
such a high achieving women is to honour ourselves and love ourselves as if we love our
children. When we put ourselves first we have more to give to others.

When we fill our cups first and honour our mind, energy and thoughts we become our own
best friend and this is one of the key essentials to really standing in our power and achieving
success on every level.

Self love should be the first and foremost focus in life, because from that stems the very being
of your actions, behaviours and communication with yourself, others and in your business.

Your business is an extension of you and the energy you bring to the table after knuckling
down on self love and getting it right will literally shine your light into the world and allow you
to have the impact you desire.

What is self love?

I believe that self love is the art of loving ourselves from the core. Knowing that happiness
comes from within, and having an inner knowing that we are enough.

Through selfcare practices we can develop this inner knowing of being enough, and allow this
to run through our success at every level.

Let's dive in the 3 ways I suggest you practice self love.

1.
REMIND YOURSELF YOU ARE ENOUGH
Each day we see so many marketing messages and we are filled with information from all
over. From the moment we wake up to the moment we go to sleep. All of this information is
filtered through our senses, we see so much information and hear so much daily.

The news, constant marketing messages which tell us we must buy something so that we
have enough. Being aware of these things and how they play a part in our mindset is key
because if we are not careful they will begin to program us to think we are not enough, we
don’t have enough and that we need to obtain more to have enough.

We see billions of bits of information each day and our brains need to work out which bits of
information to pay attention to.

If you don’t consciously program your mind to believe you are already enough then you
could end up believing that you need to obtain things outside of yourself to feel like you are
enough.

This is a receipt for disaster as you will never truly feel enough if you keep trying to fill
yourself outside of yourself. This is why so many very successful entrepreneurs are not
happy.

As a help to counter those marketing effect there are few exercises you can do to
strengthen your self-esteem and boost further your confidence.

1. You can practise Daily Affirmations. You can find some inspiration on our Pinterest
account inside 'Manifestations/Affirmations' Board (click here)

2. You can record affirmations you find the most empowering to you on your phone's
Dictaphone App and play them every day right after you wake up and right before you fall
asleep in bed at night. Why? Because our subconscious mind (the one responsible for how
we define ourselves) is at its peak during those moments.

3. Curate who you follow on social media. Who you follow on social hugely impacts the
image you have of yourself. In order to stop comparing yourself to those highly
photoshopped model pictures on Instagram, simply stop following them. Instead follow
more positive mindset accounts that deliver high vibes and encouragements, empowering
word that can truly fuel you. That makes a huge difference I promise.

TELL YOURSELF YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL
Wake up each morning and look in the mirror at the badass you are and tell yourself you
are beautiful, congratulate yourself on how far you have come and all your successes so
far.

One of the biggest mindset shift you can get is truly to compare yourself to nobody else
but yourself. Why? Because you will find that no matter when how you choose to look at
it, you'll see that you are continuously making improvements, and that in itself is f*ing
awesome.

What would the little girl version of you think when she'd be looking at you today? All the
silence or loud battles you've fought, physically, emotionally, spiritually.

I mean, do you even realise how great you are? Did anyone tell you how badass you are
today? You should always answer YES to this question because even if no one externally
told you, YOU SHOULD TELL YOURSELF EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Yes we have lows, yes we have crying days, but in the end that doesn't take away any of
our beauty ;)

ACTIVATE YOUR INNER LIGHT
Pay attention to the area just below your belly button, notice a small light shining in a
circle.

This light is love, imagine this light shining out into the world and all around you. Feel the
feelings and have an inner knowing that you are right where you need to be right now.

You have so much potential inside of you that will come with flow and grace just as it
should and right when it’s needed.

This will enable you to ground yourself and hold your energy within, giving your energy
the love it needs to carry you through the day and in challenging situations.

What does activating your inner light can look like for you?

#MEDITATION
Known and used for millenniums, meditation, or the art of accessing your higher levels of
consciousness can really help you step into your true zone of power.Do it standing, sat
with crossed legs, or even laying down - whatever works best for you. You can start by
letting go of every thought of yours by focusing on your breathing and the air fuelling
your body and let your higher mind takeover from here. '

#BATH & SELFCARE


Physical health comes as a top priority. Most people think that in order to change our
state of mind we shall work on our minds. WRONG. Body first. The great Tony Robbins
say it himself, in order to change your state you must change your body's condition. For
you that can look like having a nice relaxing bath, or going for a run or at the gym to free
all the negative energy from your body (and therefore mind).

#STEP AWAY FROM SOCIAL


It can be either social media, real life social events or both). Taking a bit of time for
yourself doesn't make you selfish. If your heart and soul are not 100% in the moment
when you go to an event (even a small night gathering), then just don't go because you
won't enjoy it and others will feel it toi and chances are it makes them uncomfortable
around you as well.

4.
PRACTISE 'WHO AM I' EXERCISE
In meditation, techniques of introspection are often used to tune in with our inner self
and exteriorise thing we like, dislike or simply think about ourselves.

For this meditation exercise I invite you to gently place your hand on your heart. You can
close your eyes for more focus.

You can cross your legs if you prefer to meditate like this or lay on your bed/couch/yoga
mattress - I leave it to your preferences.

Take 4 deep breaths, each of 4 seconds inhale, 4 seconds exhale and 4 seconds pause
before the next inhale. That will help calm your body and nervous system to be fully
ready to introspect.

Now you are going to ask yourself (out loud or in your head, again, entirely up to your
preferences) ‘Who am I?’

And naturally you can start saying empowering words that come to your mind when you
think of yourself. Pay close attention to those words, as what we tell our brain on a
regular basis and what we believe to be true about ourselves end up manifesting as our
reality every day. So we might as well try to as many strong, positive and empowering
words as possibly right?

If you struggle to come up with anything, you can start with 'I am...' followed by your
physical attributes: 'I am blonde', 'I am tall', and slowly turn them into adjectives: the more
adjectives you can say out loud the better your brain will encode them.

After your meditation you can come back to your workbook and brainstorm everything
that came to your mind on the following page.

BUY YOURSELF FLOWERS
Some might find it surprising but flowers, as natural elements that they are, bring us
automatically closer to Nature. And if like me you don't have the chance to own a
ginormous garden like Oprah (yet), filled with cute bees and gorgeous peonies, we will
have to turn to vase flowers and bouquets as a start :)

Everyone loves flowers (except those with pollen's allergies - sorry girls) because it always
makes us feel full of love.

Don't wait for anyone to buy them for you, buy yourself flowers. They don't have to be
expensive! You can pick up amazing flowers on your supermarket shop which will make
you feel full of love and like smiling.

Who said we have to sit there and wait for Prince Charming to come take care of us? We
can most definitely start doing it ourselves :) Because even if at the moment you are
single, divorced, heartbroken, lonely, you have to love yourself first for anyone loving to
enter your life, it's the Law of Attraction babe.
