of a student and lecturer. The student is using the ability of rhetoric analysis to understand the

Students often tend to plagiarize their work since some do not trust their knowledge, or
other times some may not have a good understanding of the lecturer's teachings. The two
questions that I will answer include what is the rhetorical question? Furthermore, who is the
speaker/ author? In the first question, the study shows that some of the situations that cause the
incidence of plagiarism to occur are if the student does not trust him or herself and if the student
did not get the correct content from the lecturer. The past incidence that would give rise to this
manuscript's conformation is when the lecturer has seen more plagiarized work from students
(Shaw.pg3). In the second question, the author of the text is a lecturer. The speaker establishes
personal credibility by giving specific personal examples he has experienced. The speakers come
across as knowledgeable and fair, according to his explanation. The speaker does not convey any
In students' perception of plagiarism, the two questions I will answer include who the
speaker is? Moreover, what is his or her intention in speaking? In the first question, the author of
the context is a person who is researching to have a good understanding of why most students
plagiarize their work and how they take action. According to his writing, the author is
knowledgeable fair since he addresses the primary thing that is affecting colleges (Power.pg5).
The speaker does not warn any given authority but is addressing all persons affected. In question
two, the speaker intends to let people understand why plagiarism has become common in many
schools.
