    Measurement operates by assigning symbols or numbers to objects, events,
    people, characteristics according to a specific set of rules.

    The two main types of measurement are Metric System and Standard
    Measurement System

    Standard measurement is anything that you can find that helps you measure
    objects and do not have numbers on them. While the non-standard measurement is
    any item that can be used to measure something.
