REPORT ON INTEGRATION V7C1024

DW
Installation and integration with Rotection and Gruber

09/13/2022

After flying on the 12th, Eduardo arrives at Rotection. Benjamin of Gruber. During the
day, he integrates our printer in the corresponding position inside the roll to roll machine.

We connect umbilical with all the

fibers, +24V, +48V connectors, ground and USB cable for the 485 converter. The Led electrical
panel door that had been sent from Limitronic was changed due to a knock on the electrical
panel door. An encoder is installed on some sprockets of the chain that moves the roll where it
is printed.
A 220V cable was wired from them, with a greater length than the one put on
Limitronic.

The machine was left ready, for the next day to load ink. On Monday, like every day
except Friday the 16th, the factory closed at 5 in the afternoon and on Friday at 3.

At 7:30 the factory goes to the factory, 24V and 48V voltages are checked, to turn on
the machine correctly. The equipment is started, and ink is loaded into the tanks, checking that
the temperature increases when the tank is full, and that it is observed correctly in the
software. Meanwhile, photos and videos of the roll to roll integration team are taken to have
photos of the team where the machine is going to be integrated, but someone in charge there
comments that the machine cannot be recorded, only videos of our machine. Security and
privacy papers are signed between Rotection and Limitronic. At 8 o'clock Benjamin arrives, and
he is with us, talking to Rotection, he is asked that we lack the signs of consensus and
impression that they have to give us. He insists several times, they tell us that they are not
clear about it, that they have to talk about it. But at this moment they have only a Chinese
diagrams and a couple pictures.

By means of a button panel, it is made to work.

It is verified that the signals

reach the PLC, that the PLC program works all OK, so they are asked to put the mask machine
into operation for us. Every time a print test has had to be done, they have had to hit the
machine start button. It is verified that with a consent signal the LED curing works.

It is verified that the encoder does not rotate correctly, its position is changed and it is
placed on the roller before the fabric enters our machine.
Check how the fabric passes under the printer, and notice that there are wrinkles in
front of the heads. Rotection tries to adjust the rollers as much as possible so that one does
not stretch more than the other, but it is observed that one roller brakes slightly more than
another. Protection is communicated, and they comment that they know it, and that they will
adjust it. He tries to leave in the best possible way, although the waves are still noticeable.

The machine is calibrated, first with a rule, modifying parameters of the encoder in the
Aprint, and once the pulses are well calibrated. It goes head by head calibrating and looking
with the magnifying glass. On fabric it is difficult to calibrate because the ink spreads through
the fibers before it reaches the LED.
They are told that for the LED they must design a box to protect the LED. Two
plexiglass sheets were brought from Limitronic. So far, they have not designed that protection.
And with this beam of laser we say to them they must beware to not looking the blue light.
First printing tests are made, with good results. Benjamin is satisfied with the quality.

Since there was still work to be done, it was decided to stay on Friday and return on
Saturday.
It is observed with the magnifying glass that it must be cured before. As the led is fixed
to the support where the heads are, Benjamin is told to change the led to the other part of the
support so that it is closer to the heads. We are told that the quality is good and that by
bringing the LED closer to other clients he has had head curing problems, and he wants to
avoid that risk.

For Rotection and Gruber, the quality is very good and sufficient.
They are tested on other thicker materials and other colors for future customers.

It is tested with those signals that they give us and the operation is correct. Different
Initial Delay distances are tested and with APRINT the distance between impressions is
calculated, and finally a good impression result is archived on the masks. Mask runs are made
to check the ink drops and everything is correct..
They are explained how the software works above, because on Friday there will be a
more intensive training. We inform you that we are working on Limitronic of a modification in
the software to send the job and then start the machine immediately, and not the way like
now, 20 masks are lost until the operator press the Start button. Now it is configured that if
there is no consensus you cannot send Start job. Since Software is changing. On Monday you
will have to connect via Teamviewer to change the executable.

Late in the afternoon, there was a problem with the CPU controller the fuse was
broken by manipulating the controller. We fixed the CPU to work, and it printed again with no
problem.

Benjamin didn't know we were staying another day, so he left the facility on Thursday
afternoon. He stayed with Rotection to give him intensive training for the two technicians.

09/16/2022

On Friday, an intensive 3-hour training session was given to 2 Rotection technicians.

They were explained step by step how to load and empty ink, how to put flux, how to uninstall
the wiring to take it to the end customer, the safety of the laser led and its precautions, and in
the software step by step all the functions of the software and of the APRINT.

They found the software very easy and simple, compared to other machines they have.
Finally, with the machine off, they did various experimental tests of turning on the machine,
laying out messages, sending them, changing the start delay, loading ink, emptying ink, etc.

The machine was left with 2 drops of print intensity, which is what the tests were done
with.

The machine emptied and filled a tank (black) for training. It was filled with ink again,
because next week they are going to continue working on it. We constantly insisted that they
turn on and test the machine next week or else they will have clogging problems when the end
customer is there. They assured us that next week they would work with her.

The plan they told us is that in 2 weeks the end customer goes to Rotection to see how
the machine works, and then the following two weeks is when the end customer goes to send
and make the final installation on the place where will be the machine working.
