IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR RMIT ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN


COMMENCING IN 2023 JANUARY SEMESTER
1) After you have accepted your offer and contract online, you should receive via email your STUDENTConnect
Login ID and password, and your email account.

2) When you login to StudentConnect,please read the ''Welcome Package" folder under the "HOME" tab.

3) You are required to follow the below steps and timeline to complete your enrolment with RMIT.

Mandatory Activities to Complete Important Information

 In order for a student to maintain a valid enrolment they must comply


with:
 University regulations and policies
 Relevant Australian Government and Victorian Government
legislation

 Students are required to complete the Statistical Survey for RMIT to


meet government reporting obligations.

 It is mandatory to complete the Student Statistical Survey form before
your online appointment commences. Failing which, you will not be
able to complete your online enrolment during your allotted e-
appointment.

 Students who require a step-by-step guide, you may refer to


"RESOURCE" tab -> "Quick Reference Guide"(QRG) folder -> "Student
Statistical Survey".

 You will receive an invitation letter* via your Email Account with
details on the Enrolment Information Session that require your
attendance.

 Enrolment is a RMIT's administrative requirement to formally enrol you


into the programme, therefore attendance to the Enrolment
Information Session is COMPULSORY for all new students.

Session on 20 / 21 January 2023 *  If you are unable to attend the session personally on the scheduled
time, please appoint a representative to attend the session on your
behalf.

NOTE: Important Enrolment and Orientation information will be shared during


the session.

^Students who are eligible to declare will be identified and specific information will
be sent to their e-mail account.

 For this exercise, eligible students are required to declare and select a
2nd major or minor(s) to satisfy the degree requirements.

 It is important to read the 'what-if report' thoroughly to understand the


implication of your choice in selecting or changing a 2nd major or
minor(s) before submitting the declaration.

complete by 10-15 February  After the declaration, your planner will be re-generated and it will be

 You may refer to the Quick Reference Guide(QRG) available in


SIMConnect "RESOURCE" tab -> QRG for RMIT Plan Change.

TIP: For self-service on your 2nd major or minor(s) selection, you may refer to
the online brochure (pg18-19).

NOTE: If you are unsure of which major, minor(s) to select and have missed
your declaration, you should attend the RMIT 'Consultation Session' for
academic advice. (refer to point 5)

 Your e-appointment will be available for viewing on 10 February


2023.Please login to STUDENTConnect within your allotted
e-appointment to complete your e-enrolment.

TIP #1: How to view your allotted e-appointment date and time
My Apps-> Self-Service-> Student Center-> refer to the right hand side panel 'Enrollment
Dates' -> MUST click on 'Details'-> select the term and your allotted e-appointment will be
displayed.

TIP #2: Do Not Delete Classes from the shopping cart

NOTE: If you have missed your allotted e-appointment during the June
enrolment week, you will only be able to complete your enrolment
during the add/drop period ( 14 to 20 February 2023), subject to class
availability.

 You can expect to receive your e-invoice via STUDENTConnect on


24 January 2023. Payment to be made at Student Help Desk.

continuity in the program.
