Course Description:

When it comes to work life and life in organizations, people do develop particular frames of mind.
Simply, people do not necessarily function the same way they function in their private lives, social
lives. This course presents the current scientific findings about how people behave individually, in
groups, and as a whole organization. The main aim of this course is to show the future employees
and managers the right kinds of behavior and attitudes that are likely to bring better performance for
the organizations.

In order to help the creation and facilitation of an effective learning environment,


1. read the assigned materials (relevant chapter) before it is to be discussed in the classroom,
2. take notes when it seems to be necessary,
3. participate in class discussions (any question on the subject matter is welcome at any time),
4. attend classes regularly and punctually (do your best in order not to disrupt your learning
and the flow in the classroom),
5. if you have to leave early or enter the classroom late, inform and/or take permission from
the instructor,
6. sign the attendance sheet only for yourself (no tolerance for signature forging),
7. do not fiddle with your mobile phone,
8. do not eat or sleep in the classroom,
9. do not engage in matters unrelated to the course,
There is also a zero-tolerance policy for cheating and plagiarism.

Evaluation:

Attendance will be recorded for each class meeting. Students with an attendance score (for the
whole semester) below 70% will lose their right to enter the final exam and fail the course.
