1.From the Case Study, what are your NEW
findings, discoveries, inferences

The planning of, environment to staff and Patients

Roof - gardening
Application of Proximity and spatial Planning
Creating a visual lang. that fits with the surrounding urban
context
Planning according to the natural features in related to
directions.
Creating c- shaped groups to increase clinical connection and
to minimize the staff travel times ,instead of square loop
2A. WHAT components or members are you
inspired to use in your designs?
It could be window detail, orientation of the
building, ratios, proportions, entrance porch,
corridor, etc.

Saw-tooth corridors (as opposed to straight corridors) minimize sound

reflection and transmission.

Acoustical ceiling tiles absorb the sounds of conversation.

Sliding glass doors maintain visibility while keeping the noise out when
closed.

Rubber floors dampen the sound of people and equipment moving down
the hallways.

Elevators, public waiting areas, and staff meeting rooms are located along
the central circulation spine away from the patient rooms.

No rooms are placed in east and west direction which helps in avoiding
deep sun

2B.What in these components/ members

inspired you?

Muted tones, natural finishes, pendant lights, and wall-wash

lighting add to the calming atmosphere.

Translucent glass screens separate the waiting area from the

corridor, giving patients and staff greater privacy

The changing area for patients is designed with soothing colours

and privacy.

Material Selection : More than one-third of the materials used for

construction were recycled or locally extracted or manufactured
materials. Renewable materials were used for interior finishes.

Water Conservation : Low-flow plumbing fixtures were installed to

reduce water consumption
3A. HOW/ WHERE are you going to use these
components/ members mentioned in point 2A
above, like, materials, resource mobilization,
services, financing systems, habitat design,
D I S C entrance,
ecosystem, sustainability, O V E R etc.
AND
EXPERIENCE ASIA
By adding numerous plants in more than half of the building’s
footprint has been effective to provide patients a better healing
environment even in a tight urban space.

Interior finishes and furnishing are free of volatile organic

compounds. An enhanced ventilation system maintains a constant
supply of clean,healthy air

Greenery covers more than half of the building's footprint area and
light fixtures have been carefully selected to reduce light pollution.

3B. WHY will you use them in those

locations?

We can have the schematic planning based on the case

study So ideology can be benifical and we can extract
some content related to it
