The Sabre 180 provides advanced electrosurgical features and performance
in a compact and affordable electrosurgical generator package. The Aspen
Return Monitor (ARM®) combines automatic feedback cirtuitry
and visual displays to provide the most sensitive contact quality
monitoring system available today. In Pad Monitoring Mode, the ARM®
system continuously monitors the safety of the pad placement and automatically
disables electrosurgical output and alerts the surgical staff if a return fault
condition occurs. The Assist Bargraph provides a visual display of the
resistance at the pad site and the manual Alarm Set Point eliminates
the possibility of pad site burns attributable to machine error.

The Sabre 180 delivers impressive electrosurgical performance in both the CUT
and COAG Modes. The Sabre 180 delivers a thermal damage free CUT with
patented Controlled Output Voltage. As the electrode glides through
different tissue types in the CUT Mode, Sabre 180 constantly adjusts the
voltage to provide superior cutting performance. Surgeons can select either
Pure CUT or one of the 2 Blend Modes that add hemostasis while
dissecting. The Enhanced Bipolar Mode provides excellent bipolar
coagulation with minimal tissue sticking.
Designed for Ease of Use
Return Monitor System: With Dual Foil Pads, the Aspen Return
Monitor will alarm above 150Ω or below 10Ω, and with an
approximate 20% increase in resistance above the set point.
With a Single Foil Pad, a two wire continuity detector alarms
above 10Ω.
