Oplan Tokhang

Introduction:

the Philippines implemented a national drug policy termed Project

Tokhang with the aim of eradicating the nations' drug problem. This policy

involved the Philippine National Police conducting house visitations of drug

suspects to persuade them to surrender and agree to cease their drug misuse
Purpose:

 Protecting Children in the Anti-Illegal Drugs Campaign (ProAct) is a project

of Save the Children Philippines that aims to build stronger child protection

systems, protect children from the adverse impacts of the anti-illegal drugs

campaign, and promote nonviolence and respect for human rights at the

national and local.

Description:

 Oplan Tokhang is a national law enforcement project that was launched

over the country. A Visayan word 'TOKHANG” means to approach and talk.

This was launched as part of the campaign to warn drug traffickers and

users to stop using drugs

Support:

 The project will require between 100 to 120 pesos in finding. This covers the fare,

snacks, paper’s, and any further applicable expenses
