Subject: World Blood Donor Day, “Be A Hero, Donate Blood”

Dear Mr. Rahman.

I am writing to request your approval to organise and promote World Blood Donor Day, which is
celebrated every June. For this event, we want to run a campaign called "Be A Hero, Donate Blood."
The event's goal is to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and encourage staff
to become active donors.

The major activity that will be carried out during this two-day event will be blood donation with
colobration of Blood Donation Centre "Pusat Darah Negara" in front of our office on the 21st and
22nd of July 2022.

Concerning finance and budget, we are expecting that the company would contribute RM30,000,
and we intend to raise RM50,000 through sponsorship. When we get your approval, we will transmit
the complete budget plan to the finance department.

I will advertise the event on our corporate website, send out an e-mail, and hang the banner
throughout the workplace. Additionally, Mr Syed from the HR department suggested that we form
three primary committees: the Planning Committee, the Marketing and Promotions Committee, and
the Finance Committee. Following our next meeting, we will provide you with an update on your
specific responsibilities.

We will meet again after the project has been authorised to go through the event arrangements. We
eagerly await your good reaction.
