QA Lab

Purpose: To provide a procedure for cleaning & sanitization of all the areas within premises

Scope: This procedure is applicable to all the working areas of QA-LAB

Process Owner: Authority for supervision will be of QA officer.

Cleaning & disinfection shall be performed as-Walls, Ceiling & Floors

1. Walls

Clean the wall, ceiling with a cloth.

Brooming the floor thoroughly, the dust/waste collected in the dust bin shall be emptied.

Mop the floor with detergent solution

Mop the area with tap water.

Wipe the area with disinfectant solution as per concentration in Purified water.

Record the activity in housekeeping record

2. Corridor
Remove any stain present on the corridors.

Clean the corners of the wall and floor with a mop

Mop the floor with detergent solution as per concentration and schedule.

Mop the area with tap water.

Wipe the area with disinfectant solution in purified water

Record the activity in housekeeping record

3. Doors, Windows & Glass panels

Remove any stain / dust present on the doors, windows & glass panel with lint free cloth.

Clean the doors & windows with dry mop.

Mop the dough and floors with wet cloth.

Record the activity in housekeeping record

4. Equipment:
Clean the equipment with a soft cloth.

Remove any adhered material from the surfaces of equipment with suitable means.

For moping of equipment use dry cloth to clean the equipment.

Record the activity in housekeeping

Clean the racks, Grill & platforms with dry and soft cloth.

5. Toilet
Clean the Toilet using 5 % phenyl or Harpic.

Wipe the floor with a wiper for removing water.

Record the activity in housekeeping record

Cleaning of all areas shall be done as per set frequency.

The disinfectant solution shall be prepared daily.
