    The Input to the combined translational and rotational system (rack and pinion gear) shown in
    Figure below is the force fa (t) applied to the mass M. The system has M =1kg; K1=10 Nm/rad;
    K2 =10 N/m; B = 30 N.s/m; J= 9 kg.m2 and all initial condition are zero. There is a contact force
    (fc) between rack and pinion gear.

    a. Draw the Free Body Diagram
