The landing page of SynaptiQ can be configured as desired by each user. By default, the standard
dashboard is composed by:
• The 5 plants in the user domain with the most alarms.
• The map of all the plants in the user domain.
• The list of all open alarms in the user domain.
However, this landing page can change according to the needs of each user. In the following section,
how to create and manage new dashboards will be explained.
• A map
• A graph or table that has been created and previously saved in the Analysis part.
• Alarm list views
• Intervention list
The dashboards, defined for the user, can be consulted under “Your dashboards”, on the upper right
part of the screen. The list of defined dashboards is shown as presented in Figure 3.
You can then click on “Create new dashboard” on the top-right part of the screen to start building up a
new Dashboard.
The next step is to select the template for the dashboard. It can be built up of 2 to 5 views. In this
case, we will create a four-view dashboard.
Once the template has been selected, the list of all available views is displayed so that you can select
the ones that will be integrated in the new dashboard.
To choose the views in the dashboard, drag and drop a view into the corresponding space within the
template.
Once all views have been dropped in the new dashboard, you can save the dashboard giving it a
name.
The name of the dashboard should be filled in and an optional description can be added. You have
also the possibility to tick on ‘Set this page as default landing page’ if you want the dashboard to be
used as landing page every time you log in to SynaptiQ.
