DIRECTION. Answer the following using what you have learned about Athletic
Training.

1. What is the importance of Athletic Training?


- Athletic training is one of the things that people need to prioritize in their
life especially to all the students. These training sessions are a big help to
the students to keep their physical, mental, social and development health.
These kinds of activities are important to give yourself time to relax and
to enjoy your life. According to Krueger, H. (2021), Athletic trainers are
essential in sports because they reduce the risk of injury, even at the prep
level. Athletic trainers carry out athletic training, theys treat and foresee
injuries, which are frequently brought on by participation in sports.

2. What is the importance of jumping, running and throwing movement in your


skills as an athlete?
- These three activities are the skills of an athlete that they need to practice
because it is one of the basic skills that the athlete always does. These
movements are linked to a lifetime of physical activity and good health. It
is important especially now that most of the people are addicted to
technology, they sometimes no longer go out to exercise or even the
simple things they can't do. The young ones are included in these
problems; they have less physical strength, flexibility and endurance.
These track and field events help them to be physically, mentally,
emotionally and socially fit.
