Clarity in identifying and theories and basic concept of teaching listening and
formulating

what make listening difficult.

Listening is a process of listening to verbal symbols with full attention, understanding,

appreciation, and interpretation to obtain information, capture content or messages, and
understand the meaning of the information conveyed by the speaker through speech or
spoken language (Tarigan, 2008: 31).

Listening is hearing specifically and measurably on the object being listened to

(Natasasmita, 1995: 18). Listening can be defined as an activity that includes listening and
language sounds, identifying, observing, and reacting to the meaning contained in the
listening material.

The concept of listening is usually synonymous with "listening". However, it is

slightly different from the concept of "hearing". If someone accidentally catches a sound so
that it reaches the ear, it means that he is in the process of "hearing". If the activity is
intensified, or is done deliberately to capture sound stimuli to obtain information, then the
activity is called listening or listening.

What are the things that must be considered in listening in order to get good results

Listen carefully.Focus on only one direction, namely listening and listening.Do not think
about anything other than hearing what you hear.Do not change the direction of your gaze in
another direction.
