With reference to the above, the substructure of Br 315 is completed and the
encroachments on the approach of Br 315 are being cleared by District administration for
smooth execution of the bridge. The road approach is being planned with U trough retaining
wall.
The height of U-trough retaining wall varies from 8.04 m to 5.47 m(Section AA) for 24 m near
the bridge on Tirunelveli approach and from 5.47 m to 2.865(Section BB) m from 24 m to 48
m on the same side.
The height of retaining wall on the Kottar end approach varies from 8.04m to 5.47(Section CC)
m for 24 m.
Hence it is requested to issue suitable drawing for the execution of the same. The longitudinal
section of the road is attached as enclosure.
