(5) CONCLUSION
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We are gladly and thankful to the principal, Dr. C. NADHAMUNI REDDY
and Head of the Department A. ANIL and our faculty who gave us a
development great and guidance regarding surveying camp in 8th semester.
Then all the students were divided into two groups at different stations. Students
who had a good observing skill took theodolite readings at both stations.
The indirect method of grid contour survey was adopted. In this method, some
guide points were selected along a system of straight lines and their elevations
were found.
The points were then plotted and contours were then drawn by interpolation.
While interpolating,it was that slope between any two adjacent guide points to
be uniform.
The contour lineswas drawn by interpolation. The method isused when the area
to be surveyed is small and the ground isnotmuch undulating. Theareato
besurveyed was dividedinto number of squares. The size of each grid was
30mx30m. The elevation at the corner of the square was then determined by
means of a level and a staff.
CONCLUSION:
By going the grid contour survey map can be drawn, so that one can
select most economical or suitable site forconstruction.
WE LEARN ON TOTAL STATION
Introduction:
Totalstation is a device used mainly in civil engineer for surveying ,to
calculate the horizontal vertical angles and areas and it is also stores the data
collecting data collected data indeed pronunciation the range of total station
these are various from 2.8 kilometers to 4.2 kilometers the main advantage of
using potentiation keys field work is carried out very fast and the occurring of
measurement is high and it has low errors are illuminated mostly total station or
used on the field for serving.
Purpose of survey:
By performing this surveying we can find the toddlers area of field by
ring arranging the points on the field underside that points used totally station
with the help of the prism
Procedure:
We perform this experiment in our college or finding out the area in the
ground of cricket circle.
First place the tripod stand on the field and fixed the instrument station to the
tripod and the outer the arranging the instrument leveling the instrument used
the wood screws routine to foot screws until the bubble comes to the center.
And after the leveling we can create the file in the total station and go to
station and select the option rectangular coordinates under select the target
prism.
After that we can take the prism to the expected points and side the prism
through the total station and save the readings continue the same procedure.
After collecting the readings of all points on the field we can calculate the area
in total station. We can transfer the collected data into system it was saved in
excel form often we want to do the excel form values converted into notepad.
The notepad values giving in AutoCAD. In AutoCAD we collected the all
points and the area will show the area how will be present in the area.
In that area we plan and design restructure or any other construction. In below
we representing the area of blue printer.
Conclusion:
By going the grid contour survey map can be drawn, so that one can select most
economical or suitable site forconstruction.
By conducting this survey we can find out the total area of the land area. Wecan
plan and design the constitution by using these software AutoCAD.
COLOUMN MARKING
Coordinate Measurement using Total Station:
For measuring the coordinates of an unknown point, the instrument
should know the coordinates of the point on which it is setup and the instrument
should also know our reference coordinate directions (i-e which direction
corresponds to Northing/Easting). This is achieved by the process of orientation.
There are several methods of orienting a Total Station, here we will use the
backsight coordinate method.
Orientation:
1) After setting up the instrument on a known station turn the instrument on and
go into coordinate measurement mode.
2) Select Occ. Orientation (Occupied Station Orientation) and enter the
Northing (No), Easting (E) and Elevation (Z.) of the occupied point. Also enter
a name for the station point and the height instrument above the station (HI or
INS.HT).
3) Select the Backsight Coordinate (NEZ) option and enter the coordinates of
known point on which we are going to take the backsight and press OK.
4) Sight the known point through the telescope and put it in the crosshairs
accurately and press "YES". Note: We can target the point on the ground or a
prism above the point. It doesn't make a difference because this operation is not
dependant on Elevation.
5) The total station is now oriented.
