Homework

It's no surprise that adults have a noticeable impact on the lives of their children. Whether we are
talking about infants or teenagers, the way they interact with their parents will influence their
behaviour. Building a path for one's child is a difficult job, but it definitely is worth the effort and there
are several ways to achieve that.

To begin with, since the day they are born, infants look up to their parents. Therefore it is essential that
they set a good example. For instance, adults that practice sports often are more likely to have their
children interested in similar activities. That being said, since it is self explanatory that children take their
parents as role models, they are responsible for their outlook on life and principles.

Secondly, young people are often confused as to what they are supposed to do and how they are
supposed to act in different situations. They need guidance and support, which are important to be
received from the elders. For example, dealing with unfamiliar environments or habits can be confusing
or frustrating, but when children are advised to be adaptive and are shown the steps to achieving their
desired results, they will most likely succeed.

As far as I am concerned, the gap between generations will always be noticeable, but the issues raised
by the process of growing up remain the same. Consequently, adults can provide help for younger
generations to thrive and not repeat the same mistakes they made.
