The adults’ influence on younger people

The well-known Romanian saying is that younger people should buy

themselves elders if they do not have one. Nowadays, society is ruled by the
same belief, in the means of the vital importance that adults have regarding
the guidance of younger people lives.

First and foremost, having a role model is undoubtedly essential for

children. It is widely known that in the first years of life, every being is
depending on the parents, taking over their exact behaviour. For example,
in a family, a child will always be alike his parents, without his consent and
understanding of neither what is good, nor bad. Therefore, the mature ones
should set a proper example and pass their knowledge further to their
descendants.

Furthermore, the seven years of education given by family is to be

definitory in a future man’s personality. Hence, for a proper one, rules are a
must in a childhood. The young should be guided within morality means
and especially, common sense. To achieve this, a parent should not turn a
blind eye when his child makes a mistake. If the elder is unwilling to put the
foot down, he will neglect the gravity of a solid education and consequently,
the green one will have to suffer.

All things considered, the adults’ influence on younger people, through

setting an example and giving rules, is of paramount importance for well-
educated society and world. It is my firm belief that adults have the
responsibility to educate and sustain children to mature in a faultless way.
